Head of Origination - BESS Sympower Amsterdam, Netherlands Posted on Mar 31, 2026 Job description The position Sympower is looking for a Head of Origination to accelerate growth in large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across the Nordics. As the energy transition accelerates, we have evolved beyond traditional demand-side response to become a leading route-to-market provider and optimiser for grid-scale BESS assets in the region. The Head of Origination is responsible for building, qualifying, and closing a high-quality pipeline of large-scale BESS projects for Sympower's route-to-market services, including revenue share and floor structures. You will own senior relationships with developers, infrastructure investors, and utilities, and lead complex, non-standard deal processes from first engagement through contract execution. This is a highly external-facing, commercially-driven role with accountability for signed contracts that meet Sympower's strategic, risk, and return objectives. Our headquarters are in Amsterdam.
