Comecer is expanding its international Service Team! To strengthen our team in Belgium, we are looking for Field Service Engineers, preferably based in the Brussels–Leuven region. You will be employed by Orise NV (former Process Automation Solutions), based in Belgium, and part of ATS Corporation, while working closely with Comecer Netherlands BV and the wider Comecer team.
In this role, you will help install, maintain and support high-tech systems that play a critical role in the (radio)pharmaceutical and nuclear medicine sectors.
Comecer’s solutions are developed and manufactured in Joure (The Netherlands) and are used in complex laboratory environments worldwide.
What you will do
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining Comecer equipment at customer sites throughout Belgium. You will carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring that each system performs optimally and meets all operational requirements. In addition, you will provide training and technical support to end users, helping them understand and operate the equipment effectively. Throughout every assignment, you will communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams, representing Comecer as a trusted, solution-oriented technical expert.
What you bring
You bring hands‑on experience in repairing technical equipment and troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues. You are able to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings, and you have a background in electronics, electromechanics or mechanical engineering. In this role, strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude are essential, along with a willingness to travel within Belgium and occasionally abroad. You have an energetic, proactive and solution‑driven mindset.
Requirements:
- Technical degree at secondary or bachelor level (electromechanics, electronics or mechatronics).
- Strong English and French skills; Dutch is an advantage.
- Experience with PLC-controlled systems is considered as a plus.
- Valid category B driving licence.

As a Junior Blowerdoor Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out airtightness tests on a wide range of construction projects. This role combines technical fieldwork with customer interaction and technical advisory services.
Your responsibilities:
- Performing blower door tests at residential homes, apartment buildings, retail stores, and other construction projects.
- Using specialized testing equipment to measure the airtightness of buildings and identify air leakage.
- Interpreting test results and preparing clear, accurate technical reports.
- Explaining the results to customers and providing technical advice on potential improvements to enhance a building's airtightness.
- Working independently on-site while ensuring a high-quality, accurate and customer-focused execution of all measurements.
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with customers and acting as their technical point of contact throughout the testing process.
The ideal Junior Blowerdoor Technician:
- A junior profile with a technical background, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Construction or another relevant technical field.
- Previous experience with blower door testing is not required. Motivation and willingness to learn are far more important.
- A strong interest in engineering, construction, and building technologies, combined with a proactive, independent, and responsible mindset.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and French. A combination of French and English is also acceptable.
- A flexible attitude, including the willingness to start early, work occasional evenings, and weekends.
- Based in the Brussels or Flemish Brabant region, with the willingness to travel to construction sited throughout Belgium.
