About the position

Positioned within the research group How to do things with disability (DOABLE) at the Department for Teacher Education we offer an exciting 3-year postdoctoral position to a researcher within the arts and education with a clear profile on aesthetics of access and disability as critical methodology.

The purpose of a postdoctoral position is to build up a researcher profile that qualifies to apply for a position as associate professor. The position may also offer additional skills that are relevant to the postdoctoral researcher’s future career. About the project 

This postdoctoral position is an opportunity to take a leading role in shaping disability-affirmative innovation within arts and arts education. It is connected to the international and active research group DOABLE which asks how disability can do things: change arts and education towards a place where difference is seen as valuable, open spaces of equity, and inspire brave non-ableist participatory designs.

The post doc will contribute to this goal by specifically focusing on how disability as critical methodology can challenge and reshape ableist quality criteria in arts and arts education, and in doing so contribute to the development of an aesthetics of access. Relevant ongoing practices to explore – locally in Trondheim and internationally – might include creative application of the Relaxed Performance principles, development of audio description and guidelines for broader visual accessibility, or other artistic and/or arts educational practices that center access and inclusion as creative motors for the arts. Key theoretical and methodological concepts to explore in practice and partnerships between arts organisations, educational institutions and academia include disability-affirmative innovation, inclusive co-design, access as quality criteria, interdependence, and radical allyship. The post doc will also contribute to methodological development across a spectrum of arts-based, artistic, qualitative, and/or postqualitative approaches to inquiry.

The successful candidate is expected to develop a project that contributes to advancing aesthetics of access within these frames, and to deliver a clear project description as part of the application.

Duties of the position

• Carry out high-quality research across a variety of arts-based, artistic, qualitative, and/or postqualitative approaches to inquiry
• Strengthen collaboration between disability-led and disability-affirmative arts and arts-education organisations and academia.
• Actively participate in the research group How to do things with disability (DOABLE).
• Produce academic publications and public dissemination.
• Contribute to applications for external research funding.
• Participate in international activities such as conferences, workshops, and/or research stays.
• Teach and mentor students, particularly in disability-affirmative methodologies.
• Contribute to the development of the section Arts, Physical Education and Sports, particularly from the perspective of disability-affirmative methodologies in arts and education.
• If you do not have pedagogical basic competence, NTNU's 200 hours program will be included in the duties of the position.

Required selection criteria

• You must have completed an artistic or academic doctoral degree in arts, arts education or another relevant field with a focus of clear relevance for disability-affirmative innovation within arts and arts education.
• If you are in the final phase of your doctorate and can document that the thesis has been submitted or that the defense date has been confirmed, your application can be considered even if you have not defended. NOTE: Documentation of the obtained doctorate must be presented before you can take up the position.
• Documented research methodological expertise across a variety of arts-based, artistic, qualitative, and/or postqualitative approaches to inquiry.
• Documented artistic, arts educational, and/or academic experience with disability-affirmative practice, research and innovative public dissemination.
• A research plan of 3-5 pages that shows an innovative and feasible project to be carried out in accordance with the frames outlined in "About the position" 
• Very good oral and written presentation skills in English (level B2).

Salary and conditions

As a Postdoctoral Fellow (code 1352) you are normally paid from gross NOK 633 400,- per annum before tax, depending on qualifications and seniority. From the salary, 2% is deducted as a contribution to the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund.

The period of employment is 3 years, including career promotion work such as the 200-hour program for pedagogical basic competence and teaching and mentoring duties.

About the position

The Department of Teacher Education, Section for English and Foreign Languages, invites applications for a full-time, 4-year position as a PhD candidate connected to the project “Global Childhoods on Screen: Children’s Film, English Learning, and Critical Media Literacy”. The position is affiliated with the research group CLEAR: Children’s Literature in Education and Research. The project leaders are Associate Professor Alyssa Christine Magee Lowery and Professor Libe García Zarranz, and the successful applicant will be supervised within an active research environment focused on children’s literature, media, and pedagogy.

For a position as a PhD Candidate, the goal is a completed doctoral education leading to an obtained doctoral degree.

The project examines how globally circulating children’s and family films from the English-speaking world shape young learners’ understandings of language, culture, and childhood. It is also interested in how such films can be integrated in English language education in critical and ethical ways. Positioned at the intersection of children’s media studies, critical literacy, and English as an Additional Language (EAL) pedagogy, the project addresses the growing role of screen media in children’s everyday encounters with English.

The successful applicant will contribute to research on selected children’s and family films and their pedagogical use in English teaching. The doctoral project is expected to combine one or more of the following approaches: multimodal textual analysis, qualitative educational research, teacher interviews, creative methods, arts-based methods, and/or classroom-oriented inquiry related to film in English education.

Applicants must submit an individual project proposal of at least two pages, clearly connected to the advertised theme. The proposal should explain the project’s research questions, theoretical orientation, proposed material and methods, and planned contribution to CLEAR’s ongoing work in children’s literature, media, and education. Projects with relevance for critical media literacy, multimodal literacy, and pedagogical work in English classrooms will be particularly valued. The successful applicant will be based at NTNU in Trondheim and is expected to participate actively in CLEAR seminars, relevant conferences, and collaborative research activities within and beyond the department, including collaboration with the research group TransLit: Sustainable Ethics, Affects, and Pedagogies. The position is a 4-year appointment with 25 per cent teaching and other career-promoting work. About the position

Climate change influences the magnitudes and return periods of heavy rainfall, storm surges, landslides, and many other stressors and shocks with dire consequences for civil infrastructure. The research group within civil engineering focuses climate resilient infrastructure using measurement data to support the assessment of the resilience of critical infrastructures in waterfront communities. Fjordlab Ålesund is an important and rapidly growing sensor and observation platform that contain a wealth of data in the domain of met-ocean, stormwater system, water supply system, structural systems, energy systems, ecosystem, acoustics and more.

This position aims to develop a hazard and resilience assessment platform for selected ports focusing on AI-empowered asset management using drone inspections and available asset management historical data. The aim is to enhance the asset and network resilience of ports by training an AI model on ferry quay data and in turn apply it to generic port structures. The position will be in close collaboration with the Structural Engineering department at NTNU, international research groups and directly involved in ongoing research projects at the department. The candidate will also play an important role in strengthening the interdisciplinary collaboration across NTNU.

About the project

The candidate will be working on the project ”AI-empowered asset management for port structures”.

Norwegian ports are critical infrastructure — vital to national logistics, maritime trade, and the livelihoods of coastal communities. Yet unlike roads and bridges, most port structures fall outside any regulated asset management system: there are no common inspection guidelines, no shared database of structural condition, and no systematic basis for assessing how resilient these assets are to hazards. As climate change drives increases in extreme weather, storm surges, and flooding along the Norwegian coast, this gap is becoming increasingly consequential.

This PhD project addresses that challenge head-on by developing an AI-powered asset management framework for Norwegian port structures. The approach leverages the BRUTUS database — Norway's national asset management system for ferry quays, containing labelled damage data as training material for a machine learning model capable of automatically classifying structural

damage from drone inspection images. The project aims to bring automated, cost-effective damage detection to port structures that have historically lacked any formal monitoring.

The research is anchored at the Magerholm Research Quay (MRQ), a unique full-scale laboratory established as part of Fjordlab Ålesund through a collaboration between Møre og Romsdal County and NTNU. MRQ provides unparalleled access to real-world structural and operational data, including met-ocean conditions and ferry impact loads — an ideal testbed for developing and validating the AI and drone-based inspection methods at the core of this project.

The project is funded by the Faculty of Engineering and a collaboration between the Department of Ocean Operations and Civil Engineering and the Department of Structural Engineering.

Duties of the position

Salary and conditions

In the position of PhD Candidate, code 1017, your gross salary will normally be NOK 550 800,-per annum depending on qualifications and seniority. A 2% statutory contribution to the State Pension Fund is deducted from the salary. 

The employment period is 3 years for the doctoral work.

For employment as a PhD Candidate, it is a prerequisite that you gain admission to the PhD programme in Engineering within three months of your employment contract start date, and that you participate in an organized doctoral programme through out the period of employment.

About the project Cybersecurity Governance in Critical Public Infrastructures

The PhD project will investigate how sector specific institutional contexts shape the governance of cybersecurity in critical public infrastructures. Candidates may focus on selected sectors—such as energy, transport, education, or health—to analyze why governance models differ and how variations in administrative capacity, regulatory design, risk exposure, and public–private collaboration contribute to these differences. The project aims to identify institutional arrangements that enable effective coordination between governmental authorities and private actors and to develop a comparative framework for understanding alternative pathways to effective cybersecurity governance.

Applicants are expected to develop a proposal that contributes to this comparative agenda, drawing on relevant theoretical perspectives from public administration, governance, or digital government studies. Qualitative or mixed methods approaches are welcome.

Duties of the position

• Complete the doctoral education until obtaining a doctorate.
• Carry out research of high academic quality within the framework described above, and develop your own approach to the project.

• Be an active participant in the research group Public Policy and Administration.

Required selection criteria

To be qualified for this position you must fulfill the following criteria.

• You must have a master's degree in Political Science, Social Science interdisciplinary digitalisation‑oriented programmes such as Organisation, Digitalisation, Administration and Work (MODAA), Public Management, Public Governance, Public Administration, or equivalent. Your education must correspond to a five-year Norwegian course, where normally 120 ECTS credits have been obtained at master's level included a master’s thesis or equivalent work with a scope of at least 30 ECTS credits. Master's students can apply, but the master's degree must be obtained and documented before starting the position.
• You must have a strong academic background from your previous studies and have an average grade from your Master's degree study, or equivalent education, which is equal to B or better compared to NTNU's grading scale. If you do not have letter grades from previous studies, you must have an equally good academic foundation. If you have a weaker grade background, you maybe considered if you can document that you are particularly suitable for a PhD education.
• You must meet the requirements for admission to the faculty's Doctoral Programme in Social Science.
• Good quality of the project proposal.
• Experience with qualitative research as the main methodological approach, with the ability to engage in quantitative statistical analysis when relevant.
• Good written and oral skills in English.

• Materialestyring: Vedligeholdelse af overblik over kritiske materialer, consumables og udstyr

• Modtagelse og kontrol: Modtagekontrol af mængder, tilstand og specifikationer i forhold til purchase orders

• Dokumentation: Håndtering og arkivering af shipping documents, delivery notes, packing lists og certifikater

• Yard og storage: Organisering af yard og lagerområder samt sikring af korrekt og sikker opbevaring

Derudover vil du arbejde med håndtering af afvigelser, supplier issues, waste management, outbound logistics og potentielle customs problemstillinger.

Din profil

Vi ser gerne, at du har følgende kvalifikationer:

• Dokumenteret erfaring med procurement, materialestyring eller logistik fra drilling, construction eller lignende site miljø

• Erfaring med shipping documents, packing lists, delivery notes og material certificates

• Erfaring med kontrol af materialer og leverancer mod purchase orders

• Stærke koordinations og kommunikationsevner

• Erfaring med material tracking systemer eller ERP vil være en fordel

• Gyldigt kørekort kategori B

• Gyldigt truckcertifikat

• Gyldigt stropper og anhuggercertifikat og eventuelt relevant krancertifikat

• Evne til at kommunikere og rapportere professionelt på både dansk og engelsk

Om stillingen

Som administrativ pædagogisk konsulent får du en central rolle i Enfamilies daglige arbejde. Du skal understøtte den socialfaglige kvalitet og samtidig være med til at sikre, at dokumentation, registrering, planlægning og administrative arbejdsgange fungerer i praksis.

Du kommer til at samarbejde tæt med både ledelsen og vores socialfaglige konsulenter.

En væsentlig del af stillingen handler om skriftlig socialfaglig dokumentation. Du skal derfor kunne læse kritisk, formulere dig præcist og have blik for forskellen mellem konkrete observationer og faglige vurderinger.

Dine arbejdsopgaver vil blandt andet være

• Kvalitetssikring af samværsbeskrivelser.

• Udarbejdelse af statusrapporter på baggrund af den samlede dokumentation.

• Udarbejdelse af underretninger på baggrund af observationer og dokumentation.

• Kvalitetssikring af socialfaglige formuleringer, objektivitet, grammatik og sprog.

• Planlægning og opdatering af vagter i Planday.

• Udarbejdelse og opdatering af samværsplaner.

• Kalenderstyring og koordinering.

• Opdatering og dokumenthåndtering i Sofus.

• Booking og koordinering af samværslokaler.

• Udarbejdelse og opdatering af interne procesbeskrivelser.

• Administrativ opfølgning på sager.

• Koordinering mellem medarbejdere og ledelse.

• Udvikling af skabeloner og optimering af administrative arbejdsgange.

• Diverse administrative og praktiske ad hoc-opgaver.

Vi søger dig, der

Har en pædagogisk, socialfaglig eller anden relevant faglig baggrund og gerne erfaring med socialfagligt arbejde og dokumentation.

Vi lægger særligt vægt på, at du:

• er stærk skriftligt og kan formulere dig fagligt, præcist og professionelt

• har forståelse for socialfaglig dokumentation

• kan skelne mellem observationer, vurderinger og antagelser

• har sans for detaljer uden at miste det samlede overblik

• arbejder struktureret og systematisk

• følger op på dine opgaver og tager ansvar for, at de bliver afsluttet

• kan håndtere flere forskellige opgaver i løbet af en arbejdsdag

• trives med både selvstændigt arbejde og tæt samarbejde

• er fortrolig med IT og har let ved at lære nye systemer.

Erfaring med eksempelvis samværsbeskrivelser, statusrapporter, underretninger eller andet socialfagligt skriftligt arbejde vil være en fordel.

Om stillingerne
Vi søger en pædagogisk assistent til et barselsvikariat på 37 timer. 

Du bliver en del af et hus, hvor faglighed, samarbejde og arbejdsglæde går hånd i hånd. 

Vi forventer, at du er fleksibel og kan se dig selv i både vuggestue og børnehave.

Du bliver tilknyttet en vuggestuegruppe. Her vil du arbejde tæt sammen med kollegaer fra både egen og andre stuer. Du vil være den primære kontakt til stuens forældre sammen med dine kollegaer på stuen.

Vi søger en kollega, der:

• Kan lege og aktivt bruger legen som pædagogisk redskab til at skabe trivsel, udvikling og dannelse og et trygt børnefællesskab
• Kan stå alene med en mindre børnegruppe
• Er nærværende og autentisk i relationen med børnene
• Er stabil, loyal og trives i et arbejdsfællesskab på tværs af stuer og afdelinger
• Er fleksibel inden for husets åbningstider (kl. 6.30–17.00) og kan deltage i aftenmøder ca. en gang om måneden
• Bidrager positivt til både forældresamarbejdet, den pædagogiske udvikling i huset og det sociale fællesskab

Om Børnehuset ved Grøften
Børnehuset ved Grøften er en integreret institution for børn i alderen 0–6 år. Vi har tre vuggestuegrupper og tre børnehavegrupper, og vores fællesskab består af 24 engagerede medarbejdere og én daglig leder.

Vi er en del af Dagtilbudsområde Syd i Næstved Kommune, som omfatter 12 dagtilbud med en fælles områdeleder. I 2026 arbejder vi særligt med at styrke børnefællesskaber og leg som centrale pædagogiske fokusområder. Derudover er vi en del af et stort forskningsprojekt, den styrkede sprogvurdering ”Vi lærer sammen”.

Med Socialstyrelsens normeringsløft har vi fået tilført ekstra ressourcer, som giver os endnu bedre muligheder for at udvikle og kvalificere det pædagogiske arbejde.

Derudover samarbejder vi tæt med tværfaglige eksperter som specialpædagogiske vejledere, psykologer, ergoterapeuter og tale-hørekonsulenter.
