SAY YES IF YOU WANT TO BE PART OF THE SENSORY SCIENCE DEPARTMENT
As the Sensory Panel Leader, you will join the expanding User & Product Experience (UX/PX) & Sensory Science Department, currently comprising over 30 scientists worldwide. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the UX/PX & Sensory Scientist to prepare, organize, and conduct sensory sessions with our French-speaking expert panel.
This exciting position places you at the heart of our sensory operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful setup and smooth running of the panel, overseeing all related activities. You will also ensure that our sensory laboratory is well-maintained and that all evaluations, whether for the expert panel or internal prototype testing are planned and executed on time, in close coordination with the Scientist.
You will play a key role in establishing our sensory lab and will work hand-in-hand with other panel leaders to successfully install and support our panels.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible to lead, train and manage the expert sensory panel for different projects and ensure high-quality data
- Plan and execute sensory evaluation and assure they are being done according to sensory best practices
- Documentation of sensory best practices related to panel management and panel performance
- Monitor and maintain panel performance through calibration activities and ongoing feedback.
- Collaborate with sensory scientists and cross-functional teams to support project objectives and data quality.
- Support Senior scientist with data analysis and reporting of sensory tests
- Brief the panel operator, so he/she is able to prepare and set up all materials needed for sessions with the trained panel, create electronic questionnaires to collect sensory data, ...

· Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Sensory & Consumer Science, Consumer Psychology or equivalent
· Excellent team-player & organization skills
· Not afraid of moderating and leading a group of more than 10 sensory experts, so called sensory expert panel
· Fluent French speaking and writing is necessary, English professional working proficiency, other languages are a plus
· Plus Qualification: Preferably first experiences such as internship/work experience in FMCG managing or leading expert panels.
