Job description

Are you someone who enjoys getting on the road and loves long drives? Do you have a CE driving license and are you looking for a job where you can rack up the miles? Then definitely read on!

What will you do?

You will deliver new, empty oil drums with a mega trailer. You leave every day from Lier and primarily drive in Belgium and the Netherlands. You start between 4 AM and 7 AM and make between 3 to 8 stops a day. Sometimes you unload the drums yourself (for a nice extra fee). Occasionally, there is work on Saturdays, but that's at 150% pay.

What do we expect?

You have a good knowledge of Dutch or English. You possess a CE driving license with the necessary documents. You have some experience driving a mega trailer. Physical work is not a problem for you, and you do it with a smile.You may be required to operate different types of trailers and transport various kinds of goods. Therefore, it is important that you are flexible and open to a variety of tasks.

Jouw belangrijkste taak is natuurlijk om alle bestellingen klaar te zetten, te laden en te verwerken in onze IT-systemen. Om dit te doen is het belangrijk dat je:

-De juiste controles uitvoert op de uitgaande goederen (kloppen de aantallen, de stapelingen,…?). Op basis van jouw controle worden de facturen opgemaakt, dus nauwkeurigheid is van groot belang!

-Zorgt voor de juiste afhandeling van alle (transport-) documenten.

-Daarnaast ga je ook de voorraden nauwkeurig opvolgen en corrigeren waar nodig in ons ERP/WMS systeem.

-Dankzij een goed overleg met de verschillende interne afdelingen (planning, productie) slaag je erin om positief mee te werken aan verbeteringsprocessen. Jouw input is much appreciated!

-Je steekt graag de handen uit de mouwen om oa bijvoorbeeld kartonnen dozen uit te pakken en over te stapelen naar plastic bakken.

-Je spreekt, begrijpt en leest goed Nederlands en/of Engels. 

-Je bent gemotiveerd en je hebt een goede dosis gezond verstand/inzicht om nieuwe dingen aan te leren. Eerdere ervaring in een logistieke omgeving is natuurlijk mooi meegenomen.

-Je kan accuraat werken en bent klantgericht en flexibel ingesteld. Vertragingen in de productie waardoor het transport ook wat vertraging oploopt? Kan gebeuren, jij hebt geen 9 to 5 mentaliteit waardoor je samen met collega’s kan afstemmen wie wat langer blijft.

-Je bent bereid om met ons ERP en WMS (computer-)systeem te leren werken. Als je al met dergelijke systemen ervaring hebt is dat eveneens een grote plus.

-Een pluspunt is als je ervaring hebt met een heftruck of elektrische stapelaar

-Je hebt oog voor kwaliteit

-Je bent zelf ook netjes en verzorgd: wij kunnen geen gelnagels, overdadige make-up, zichtbare piercings etc… toelaten in onze productie.

-Je vindt het niet erg om in een koude omgeving te werken (0°- 2°) 

-Meestal werk je in dagpost en 1x om de 3-4 weken met de late post.
