Description

You act as a central coordination point, ensuring that all technical and commercial requirements from tender projects are clearly communicated and successfully implemented.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and support quotations, including pricing calculations and cost analysis
- Review and validate customer orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding tender requirements and project implementation
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all required customer documentation
- Perform technical checks on vehicles prior to delivery
- Monitor and follow up on work carried out on new vehicles in workshops or service centers
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to drivers or end-users on the use of new vehicles
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth implementation of technical updates and information in collaboration with internal departments
- Bachelor's degree in (electro)mechanics, automotive engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong affinity with alternative drivetrains and emerging mobility technologies
- Experience translating technical specifications (e.g. tender documents) into structured and complex offers
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English; knowledge of German is an asset

We are looking for a motivated Customer Service & Purchase Assistant to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role combines operational excellence in order-to-delivery and purchasing activities, providing hands-on support to ensure smooth procurement processes and efficient supplier coordination.
You will act as a key link between suppliers, logistics, and the purchasing department, ensuring seamless daily operations and supporting the overall efficiency of the procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Order-to-Delivery (Inbound Flow)
- Manage incoming purchase orders and ensure accurate entry into ERP systems.
- Coordinate inbound deliveries with logistics and suppliers to ensure timely arrivals.
- Handle supplier communication (phone/email) and provide clear, professional support.
- Monitor order and delivery status; proactively follow up to avoid disruptions.
- Manage backorders, delays, and discrepancies (quantity, quality, documentation).
Purchasing Support
- Assist the purchasing team in placing orders and following up with suppliers.
- Maintain and update supplier and product information in internal systems.
- Support the monitoring of stock levels and help trigger replenishment needs.
- Ensure purchase documentation is complete and correctly processed.
- Collaborate with internal departments (logistics, finance) to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow up on pricing, confirmations, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Profile Requirements
- Bilingual Dutch//English (spoken & written); good knowledge of French is an asset.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in customer service, purchasing support, or supply chain.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office (Excel).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and team spirit.

Hoe ziet jouw functie eruit?
- Instellen en ombouwen van de Tubemill-machine
Je stelt de machine correct in voor verschillende productieruns en voert de nodige ombouwwerkzaamheden uit. - Kwaliteitscontroles uitvoeren
Je controleert regelmatig of de geproduceerde buizen voldoen aan de gestelde kwaliteitsnormen. - Aansturen van een team
Je coördineert een team van 4 à 5 medewerkers (operator, heftruckchauffeur, entry line, inpak en werkvoorbereiding/backup) en stimuleert een vlotte samenwerking. - Orde, netheid en veiligheid bewaken
Je zorgt voor een georganiseerde en veilige werkomgeving en neemt initiatieven om de veiligheid continu te verbeteren. - Probleemoplossing en optimalisatie
Je detecteert en verhelpt kleine storingen zelfstandig en denkt actief mee over verbeteringen om het machinepark verder te optimaliseren.
