About the role At SAMCO Aircraft Maintenance, based at Maastricht Airport, you make sure the maintenance teams always have the right parts at the right time. Working from work orders and picking lists, you locate and pick the correct aircraft parts from stock, check part numbers and documentation, and prepare and deliver them to the hangar so scheduled work can start without delay. Accuracy is key: in aviation the right part with the right paperwork matters every single time. You also process incoming deliveries, store parts in the correct locations, keep stock records accurate, and operate a forklift or reach truck when needed. A typical day You start by picking up the day's work orders and picking lists from the maintenance planning. You move through the warehouse to locate and pick the required parts, checking part numbers, quantities and documentation as you go, and register each pick in the system. You kit the parts per job and deliver them to the right team or hangar. In between, you process incoming deliveries, put parts away in their correct locations, and keep your work area tidy and accurate. At the end of your shift you run a final stock check and close out the day.
