What is new since November 2022

As part of the continuous improvements on Europass, here are some highlights that will be beneficial for you as users of Europass.

More accessible for users with impairments

  • Europass tools and features such as the "My Skills”, “My interests”, “My Library”, and the settings and activity feed pages are now accessible for keyboard users.
  • If you are using assistive technologies, the following features are optimised for the screen reader the Application Manager,
    •  the Header and menu,
    • the search interfaces (both for Jobs and Courses),
    • “My Skills”,
    • “My interests”,
    • “My favourites”,
    • Course and job suggestions on the dashboard, and
    • the settings page, and
    • activity feed page.

Help text

  • You now have tips on how to fill description fields (for example, the description of work experiences) with examples.

Improvements on the Application Manager

  • In the Application Manager, you can an application for a job or course opportunity directly from the search interfaces or from the favourites.
  • Email notifications{users will now be informed in advance via email when their shared profiles, files, links and applications are about to expire

Design Improvements

  • You can format text and lists better and use numbered lists.
  • You will have consistent spacing between sections and records, proper page breaks (for language skills and digital skills).
  • On CV Templates one and two, work experience, education and training sections as well language skills and digital skills are highlighted.  
  • The length of the templates are now shorter because the information is presented in a more condensed form.
  • In CV Templates three and four, you will see that formatting and design is better.
  • In all Cover Letter templates, the icons for phone numbers and messaging applications are updated.
