The European Digital Credentials for Learning (EDC) are transforming the way qualifications and learning achievements are documented, awarded, shared, and verified across Europe. As an EDC implementer, your organisation, institution or project plays a crucial role in driving this change. To showcase your experience and achievements, we invite you to share your journey with the wider EDC and ELM community.

Why share your testimonial?

By contributing your testimonial, you will have the opportunity to showcase your work and inspire new implementers. Your insights will be featured on the ELM Futurium group, the practice sharing and feedback platform for EDC and ELM, providing visibility to your efforts and demonstrating the real-world impact of digital credentials.

This is your opportunity to bring your experience forward and provide new implementers with the resources and examples you may have wished for earlier in your own EDC journey.

What to include in your testimonial

We are looking for testimonials from organisations that have implemented European Digital Credentials for Learning in various contexts. To be eligible, you should have successfully issued EDCs to learners or have a pilot with an extensive testing phase. Your testimonial should include:

· A brief description of who you are – whether an institution, alliance, project or other organisation: describe your profile, your context and mission, especially in the case of alliances and projects. How and why did your organisation choose to use EDC, and what specific needs does the EDC solution address?

· Your use case for digital credentials: are you issuing micro-credentials, diplomas, VET certificates certificates of attendance, or other types of credentials? In which context are you implementing EDCs in your organisation?

· Your implementation scenario: the approach your organisation took to implementing EDC, whether it is fully through the European Commission’s EDC Issuer service and Online Credential Builder, a local deployment of the open-source version of the infrastructure, and integration with your Student Information System or Learning Management System, or other.

· Your experience with EDC: what lessons have you learnt during your implementation journey? What were your key success moments and achievements, and what recommendations would you give others who are looking to implement European Digital Credentials for Learning?

We will review your first answers, and contact you with the next steps to collect your testimonial. Please note that we will aim to collect a variety of use-cases, showcasing adoption across different educational sectors and regions.

Selected testimonials will be published (after a review) on Futurium to inspire and guide other organisations exploring the use of digital credentials.
