Sales Manager
About the Role
PPHE Hotel Group is a hospitality company driven by innovation, guest-centricity, and commercial performance. We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our Regional Sales Team, with direct responsibility for driving sales and revenue performance across a portfolio of six hotels in the Netherlands.
This is a key commercial role, focused on developing new business, especially within the MICE and corporate segments, while strengthening existing relationships and ensuring a consistent sales approach across the hotels. You will report to the Head of Sales, Netherlands and work closely with key stakeholders to deliver on revenue targets and business development goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business: Proactively generate new business opportunities through cold calling, database management, and both local and international client visits.
- Account management: Maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, ensuring high client satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Cross-selling: Promote all venue offerings-from large congresses to social events-covering guest rooms, meeting spaces, restaurants, and the art gallery.
- Commercial negotiations: Lead negotiations for corporate room rates, meeting packages, and group contracts to maximize profitability and client retention.
- Sales strategy: Contribute ideas for direct sales activities to boost revenue within managed market segments.
- Brand representation: Represent the hotels at industry events, roadshows, and client networking events to strengthen relationships and enhance brand visibility.
Candidate Profile
- +/- 2 years of experience in a commercial sales role within the hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated success managing MICE and corporate accounts, ideally in the Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Eindhoven markets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
