We are looking for an engineering student to support the Manufacturing Excellence part of the Transform to Outperform program at the Terneuzen site.
Project description
The role will be a part of the Transform to Outperform team where we will focus on our manufacturing assets and maintenance departments. You will be working close to the plants, supporting improvement initiatives, and getting hands-on exposure to how a large industrial site drives performance, efficiency, and simplification. The goal is not to own everything, but to support analyses, prepare insights, and help teams move forward.
Responsibilities
- Improving how our assets run (availability, maintenance, energy use)
- Looking for ways to simplify processes, standards, or ways of working
- Supporting improvement projects and execution activities
- Helping prepare, structure, and visualize data to make performance easier to understand
- Getting insight into how work is organized and how teams collaborate
Qualifications
- You are currently studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical, mechanical, industrial, electrical, process engineering or related field.
- You speak fluent English. Dutch language skills is preferred.
- No prior industry experience is required — motivation and learning mindset matter most.
