What to expect
As a Purchasing trainee, you are responsible together with the Purchase department in guiding the purchase process in the hotel. You will work with the kitchens and restaurants. With this position, you have the behind the scenes access to one of the luxurious hotels in the Netherlands, and a place where you can increase your purchasing knowledge. This traineeship provides responsibility and offers a possibility for further growth for yourself, in which no day is the same. Your main tasks will be: - Preparing the daily orders for all departments on a daily basis; - To order, receive and stock delivered dried goods, beverages and printed matters; - Applying the First-in/first-out system; - Administration tasks such as processing invoices; - Ensuring a clean and well-organized store and packing area.
Your traineeship shifts will be from Monday to Friday, 5 days per week. You are also available to work on public holidays. It is possible to work on your thesis or school projects one day per week.
