Prof. Boztug’s research program bridges fundamental discoveries in immune dysregulation with clinical translation. The laboratory focuses on identifying inborn errors of immunity (IEIs) and dissecting their underlying molecular mechanisms, with the ultimate goal of advancing precision medicine for immune-mediated diseases.
The group employs a combination of model organism research, including zebrafish and mouse models, together with translational approaches, enabling detailed study of the molecular and cellular processes driving immune dysfunction. We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Assistant (MTA) to join our team starting January 2026 and support ongoing research projects using zebrafish as a model system. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of Dr. Castanon, a senior scientist with extensive expertise in zebrafish research.
