Your profile - Completed vocational training, university degree or comparable qualification related to shipping, logistics, nautical science, marine operations or port operations. - Nautical background, sea-going experience, port captain experience or marine technical experience is an advantage. - Professional experience in RoRo shipping, vessel operations, port logistics, cargo planning, High & Heavy, survey or claims handling is desirable. - Good understanding of vessel operations, port processes, cargo flow, stowage planning and international communication chains. - Knowledge of the IMO CSS Code, IMDG Code and SOLAS is an advantage. - Very good written and spoken English; German language skills are expressly preferred. - Careful working style, strong affinity for numbers, good prioritization skills and a sense of responsibility in critical situations. - Willingness to travel to European ports, terminals, vessels and service providers as well as a Class B driving license.
