Roche Personalized Healthcare Solutions (PHCS) is seeking a full-time Pathology Scientist (m/f/d) to join the Pathology team of the US-accredited Companion Diagnostics (CDx) laboratory located in Penzberg. The Opportunity
Join a global team of over 20 pathologists located in both Germany and the United States who work together to drive innovation and bring new products to market. In this challenging role you will
* Provide medical oversight for pathology and slide reading for early phase clinical trials, assay development, CE-IVD and Pharma clients. Ensure quality and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* Support R&D activities for primary antibodies, detection systems, probes, special stains, and digital pathology, contributing to new product development and process improvements.
* Serve as the medical representative on project teams, addressing all pathology-related aspects and queries, and making strategic contributions through medical knowledge.
* Participate in Pharma client meetings to support biomarker hypothesis testing strategies, and drive activities for publication and/or patent potential.
* Coordinate the work of contracted pathologists, including training, assigning work and advising on day-to-day activities, as needed.
* Contribute to internal pathology education programs, perform training and scoring of slides, read clinical trial patient samples for the CDx laboratory (Penzberg), and stay up-to-date on pathology, oncology, and molecular biology literature.
* Serve as Principal Investigator with medical accountability across multiple European clinical trials within global CDx development programs, acting as the primary medical interface to Pharma partners.
* Provide medical oversight of laboratory processes, procedures, and quality management systems. Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements as well as global Roche and international standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Who you are
* We seek a Pathologist (m/f/d) with German board certification, a valid German medical license and at least one year of clinical or industry experience
* The ideal candidates will have proven expertise in immunohistochemistry
* You are experienced in interpretation and assessment of primary antibodies, detection systems, probes, and molecular platforms
* You are proficient in providing pathology support to project teams and clinical trials
* Furthermore, you are skilled in leading people while communicating effectively, and working within multidisciplinary teams

Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Support our global category managers in the implementation of global, regional, and/or local procurement strategies for production equipment
* Market analysis and identification of potential suppliers worldwide
* Responsibility for tendering/RFP (Request for proposal) for production equipment, predominantly for our locations in Switzerland
* Responsibility for conducting (contract) negotiations with suppliers, based on Swiss law, using predefined contract drafts or terms and conditions to secure optimal prices and conditions
* Evaluation and selection of suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery criteria
* Management of supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with contract terms
* Primarily for our locations in Switzerland, participation in large and medium-sized project teams and collaboration with internal departments such as production and engineering to coordinate the procurement process
* Ensuring the on-time delivery of production equipment and avoiding supply bottlenecks
* Monitoring and improving supplier performance and the procurement process
* Preparation of reports and analyses to support decision-making
* Advising departments on commercial matters
* Continuous improvement of the procurement department, consolidation and optimization of the supplier portfolio
Who you are
* Bachelor degree in business administration, engineering, or a comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in procurement and supplier management, ideally in the area of production facilities
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as consulting skills, persuasiveness, and resilience
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Experience with ERP systems and other procurement software
* Knowledge of market trends and the supplier landscape in the area of production facilities

The Position
We are looking for a Technical Specialist (m/f/d) for the Regional Customer Support Center (RCSC), based in Mannheim (Germany)*. On a daily basis, we support numerous customers from seven countries and provide remote, telephone and email support for inquiries, technical questions and complaints regarding our Roche analytical systems. The Opportunity
Our international Regional Customer Support Center (RCSC) is responsible for technical and application customer service for Roche analytical systems in in-vitro laboratory diagnostics. As an Technical Specialist (m/w/d), you will be the direct contact for inquiries from our customers in diagnostic laboratories and hospitals in the RCSC countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece and Turkey). Your main tasks are:
* You will support our customers in hospitals and diagnostic laboratories in the Netherlands and Belgium as well as colleagues in the field by telephone, digitally and via remote connection and support them from the acceptance of technical product problems to the derivation of suitable measures for problem solving.
* You identify the causes of product problems, work out solutions and initiate appropriate measures.
* You carefully document your activities in the supporting customer relationship management (CRM) system.
* You prepare product information and support the transfer of information to the customer and the exchange of knowledge within the organization.
* *We are flexible as to where you work. Your place of work can be Mannheim (Germany) or Almere (The Netherlands). In any case, you will actively seek the exchange and cooperation with your colleagues at the RCSC in Mannheim
* Occasionally, you conduct customer training sessions in the local language.
* Occasionally, you support field service colleagues during on-site service visits to the customer lab.
Who you are
* You are fluent in Dutch/Flemish, and English. Ideally, you also speak German or another language such as Turkish or Greek.
* You have successfully completed your engineering studies (e.g. medical technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics) or degree. Alternatively, you have trained as a technician or computer scientist plus professional experience.
* Ideally, you have several years of experience in the medical-technical field, through technical customer support (field service or hotline) or in a laboratory function.
* You have in-depth knowledge of technology (mechanics, electrical engineering). You are familiar with IT network structures, communication protocols and IT interfaces and have experience in the area of server operating systems.
* You are quick on the uptake and can solve complex problems in a structured manner using your analytical skills.
* You are open minded and have intercultural experience.
* You show a high degree of communicative and social competence in personal and virtual cooperation. Working in a team is your strength.

In our regional Customer Support Center in Mannheim, you will provide "best in class" service for the EMEA region. With your expertise in Customer Support for Sequencing Hardware, you will make a significant contribution to ensuring the availability of our systems and the quality of results for our customers. Your work has a direct impact on long-term customer loyalty, securing revenue, and the further development of our business area strategies to realize Roche's vision of putting patients at the center.
As Head of Customer Support Sequencing Hardware (d/f/m), you will lead a team of dedicated and motivated experts. Part of your team is based at the RCSC Mannheim and offers remote support via telephone and email. Another part supports the on-site service in the "Served Countries" of the EMEA region. Close collaboration with the Service Lead Sequencing and local sales units is essential. Together, we work in a dynamic and international environment that focuses on knowledge exchange and continuous development.

* You will lead and develop the Customer Support Sequencing Hardware department and its employees.
* You will manage and participate in national and international projects to further develop business area strategies.
* You and your team will be responsible for supporting our Roche Sequencing instruments via remote, telephone, and email, acting as first-level support.
* You will ensure the availability of systems and the quality of results for our customers to guarantee long-term customer loyalty.
* You will ensure compliance with budgets, SLAs, and service levels and manage process quality using key performance indicators.

* A successfully completed degree in business or a technical field and several years of professional experience in instrument support.
* Proven leadership experience with personnel and budget responsibility.

Unterstütze unserer Team als Laborangestellter (m/w/d) im Bereich der Zellkultur, welcher das Bindeglied zwischen der Pharma Forschung und der Produktion darstellt.
Unser Kerngeschäft ist die zeit- und qualitätsgerechte Entwicklung von Prozessen für die Wirkstoffherstellung. Damit unterstützen wir die zeitgerechte Einführung von Markprodukten. Wir leisten damit einen wichtigen Beitrag für die Entwicklung von neuen Medikamenten im Roche Konzern in Europa.
In deiner Funktion unterstützt du unser Team im Zellkulturlabor rund um Vorkulturführung und leistest damit einen wertvollen Beitrag zur Entwicklung von Zellkulturprozesse im Kleinstmaßstab. Dabei gehört die Vorkulturführung ebenso wie die Durchführung analytischer Methoden zu deinen Aufgaben
Welche Tätigkeiten beinhaltet Deine neue Stelle?
* Planung, Durchführung und Auswertung von Zellkultur-Laborarbeiten wie z.B. Stammhaltung, Optimierungsversuche und Zellbankenablage eukaryontischer Zelllinien inkl. der Herstellung von Medien sowie der Durchführung prozessnaher Analytiken (z.B. Zellzählung mittels CEDEX HiRes cell counter, mikroskopische Bewertung der Reinheit von Zellkulturen) wie auch erweiterter analytischer Verfahren (Bsp. CEDEX BioHT Analyzer) und der Vorgaben gerechten Dokumentation.
* Vorkulturführung, die Zellbankenablage sowie Optimierungsversuche mit eukaryontischen Zellkulturen, sowie Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Versuchen auf parallelisierten und automatisierten Kleinfermentationsanlagen (amb250). Betreuung von Produktionsverfahren zur Kultivierung eukaryontischen Zellen incl. der Zellabtrennung z.B. durch Zentrifugation/ Filtration.
* Eine Selbstständige Organisation und Durchführung von Übergabebesprechungen mit der abgebenden Arbeitsgruppe inkl. Planung der Versuchsdurchführung.
* Betreuung von Geräten und Anlagen im Rahmen einer Geräteverantwortung inkl. Durchführung von Betreiberwartungen.
* Unterstützung bei QA-Aufgaben, z.B. der Bearbeitung von Arbeits- und Herstellvorschriften.
* Einarbeitung neuer MitarbeiterInnen und PraktikantInnen.
* Diese Rolle benötigt eine Bereitschaft zur Arbeit an Feiertagen und Wochenenden.
Du kannst dich mit den folgenden Aussagen identifizieren?
* Du verfügst über eine abgeschlossene dreijährige Berufsausbildung mit langjähriger Berufserfahrung oder einen Abschluss als Biotechniker (m/w/d) oder Bachelor mit einer Weiterbildung zum Techniker (m/w/d) oder vergleichbar mit mehrjähriger Berufserfahrung.

* Du konntest bereits Berufserfahrung in einem vergleichbaren Arbeitsumfeld sammeln (bevorzugt mindestens 2-jährige Berufserfahrung auf einem entsprechenden Arbeitsplatz).
* Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift runden Dein Profil ab.

What you'll get to do…
You perform hardware troubleshooting, maintenance as well as data and power cable management, testing, and installation for GoDaddy infrastructure, with a focus on critical systems (storage, network, servers) and you are able to solve all but the most sophisticated infrastructure issues
You maintain documentation on technologies you support and understand all aspects of the equipment
You respond to all requests from 24x7 business operations centers and work according to policies and procedures
You ensure detailed physical inventory tracking and staging (Inventory and Asset Management) while performing cycle audits within our system (ServiceNow)
You perform Disk Life Cycle process and destruction of data bearing devices following our policies
You coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claim and process failed vendor hardware devices
Your experience should include…
Validated expertise in systems administration (Linux and/or Windows Servers) and networking (DNS, DHCP)
1+ years experience with the following IT hardware concepts: RAID, Storage Concept, SAS/SATA/NVME, Boot Process, Boot Loader, Base Operating System Install, Network device and protocol configuration, File Systems, Directory Structure, Core OS Services such as SSH, Telnet, RDP, FTP, NFS, DNS, DHCP, LDAP
The ability to kneel, crawl, reach above shoulder height and lift 25kg repeatedly throughout daily shifts and walk/move about the data center facility for up to 85% of shift time
