Your role isn’t to report on the product - it’s to shape what the product is capable of. You’ll co-own what we know about manufacturers, how that knowledge is structured, and how our agents reason over it to create real outcomes. You’ll work hands-on with complex data, close to the product, collaborating directly with our CTO and AI Product Director. This is not a support or reporting function. This is a builder role, at the intersection of data, AI, and product. What you'll make happen You'll design the language of manufacturing intelligence: You define and extend the manufacturing ontology that powers Gieni’s AI agents: companies, facilities, machines, processes, materials, certifications, capacities - and the relationships that make them meaningful. You break workflows into “data atoms”: What does an agent actually need to shortlist prospects (spindle RPM, tonnage, certifications)? What signals displace incumbent suppliers (OEM brand, machine age, utilisation)? You build and evolve the knowledge graph (Neo4j) that grounds our agents in structured, queryable manufacturing intelligence. What eases your start You’re not just data-literate - you’re AI-native: You have 5+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or similar roles in B2B SaaS or AI-driven environments. Claude Code, Cursor, and agentic workflows are how you work - not experiments you’ve tried once. This is your daily toolkit. You understand how AI agents work: tools, reasoning loops, grounding, context windows - and you design for them. You’re strong in SQL and Python and you build things yourself. You don't just analyse - you ship. Knowledge graphs, ontology design, semantic data models - you're comfortable here. You’ve worked with the Azure stack (Fabric, Synapse, OneLake, Azure ML, AI Search). What you will do: • Research planning: collaboration with various stakeholders to define (strategic) research objectives. • Preparing, conducting and analysing qualitative and quantitative user studies to explore business models, features, concepts and designs together with our users • Effectively communicate insights and findings to represent and address user needs and insights during product development • Collaborate with different stakeholders from various areas, including product, design, marketing, data, and strategy, to (further) develop our products with a focus on user experience • Advocating for user needs, goals and problems as well as user-centred design throughout the organisation • Shape the product strategy and roadmap by conducting proactive research Qualifications Who you are • You know the ins and outs of user research, are interested in design thinking methods and understand user-centred design principles and UI best practices • You have experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative UX Research Studies. Experience in market research and/or Business Analysis is a plus • You’re comfortable creating reports and giving presentations • You can communicate fluidly in both written and spoken English, which is our corporate language, and you speak at least one of French and German at a native-speaker level • You know how to run statistical analyses and are comfortable with using a tool for statistical analysis like R (big plus) or SPSS • A degree at university level in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, or other fields emphasising human behaviour would be an added value • You know how to work independently and prioritise time between multiple projects, and you are flexible in adapting to changing schedules.
