Irish Casing Company is recruiting Meat Processing Operatives for their company in Spollanstown, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, with required travel to client and associated processing facilities. This role requires the candidate to work as part of a fast-paced production line team, processing, preparing and packing meat products in accordance with company and client targets, while maintaining strict standards of hygiene, food safety, quality control and health and safety. Responsibilities include cutting, trimming, cleaning and sorting meat casings and products safely on the production line, following HACCP guidelines, monitoring product quality, reporting any production line or equipment issues to supervisors, and correctly packing and labelling finished goods. The role also includes stock handling and preparation for dispatch. Travel to and work at different designated client processing facilities and associated meat plants is an essential part of the normal daily duties, due to the operational nature of the business. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work at different locations as required. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a meat factory, food processing facility or abattoir environment, a strong understanding of food hygiene, workplace safety and production targets, and a good working knowledge of English to follow safety instructions and team guidelines.
