The profile we are looking for have strategic communicator- and marketer skills. The job
Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies to strengthen DigiWind’s branding and impact, as well as to drive the sales of DTU’s educational offerings  
  • Contribute to implementing new marketing and sales platforms, including CRM, within the framework of DTU 
  • Create and execute impactful communication activities across diverse channels and platforms to build interest, increase engagement, and achieve conversions  
  • Maintain and cultivate strong relations with stakeholders to drive the process and ensure that communication strategies align with project goals and are effectively executed  
  • Provide tailored advice and support to scientists and teachers, helping them design and deliver effective communication initiatives that contribute to project objectives 
  • Monitor and analyse key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives and report on key performance indicators for continuous improvement 

Our expectations of you
To be a competitive candidate, you should have: 

  • Master’s degree in communications and media, marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience within the field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in communications or marketing 
  • Experience in science or technical communication is considered an advantage  
  • Proven expertise in managing digital communication channels - including social media platforms, websites and email marketing - with a data-driven approach  
  • A background in CRM and paid SoMe campaigns is considered a plus 
  • A flair for developing communication strategies and campaigns, combined with hands-on execution skills, such as copywriting, graphic design and CMS management 
  • Experience in navigating complex organization, managing numerous stakeholders and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

We are looking for an engaged Startup Coach and Funding Programme Manager to join our small ambitious team.

The Position
Are you passionate about helping new technology startups? Do you want to work with startup grants and fundraising? Then this might be the right job for you.

Our experience at DTU Skylab shows that entrepreneurship is an effective tool for competency building and personal growth. We believe that students and researchers hold the key to generating innovative solutions for a better, more sustainable tomorrow. Every day, we passionately work to support and motivate teams to embark on their own startup journeys through guidance, coaching, workshops, and providing a shoulder to lean on during tough times.

We are looking for a maternity cover (12 months) to engage with our DTU student startup projects and support them in their startup journey through our grants program, DTU Skylab Funding. Twice a year DTU Skylab hands out grants to promising young student startups, and we need a maternity cover to run and continuously develop the programme. 

You will be part of the team of startup coaches who run DTU Skylab’s startup programme. As part of the role, you are also expected to coach several of the teams enrolled in the programme on general commercial startup skills e.g. through running workshops and 1:1 coaching. Hence, we are looking for someone with not just grant experience but also experience from startups or the startup ecosystem. 

Lastly, there is also an opportunity within this role to engage in/take lead on our diversity and inclusion work at Skylab. Skylab is currently running several initiatives to engage a more diverse group of users and is investigating internal processes and collecting data/insight to start preparing for new initiatives. 

As Funding Programme Manager, you will:

  • Run our student grants program, including programme promotion, support to applicants, coordination of deadlines, processing applications and giving application feedback.
  • Maintain a good relationship with our existing funding partners in the program and manage communication between funding partners and grant recipients.
  • Handling all practicalities regarding pay-outs, data collection and reporting. 
  • Continuously look for and attract new potential funding partners which could be both foundations and/or companies. This also includes re-negotiating agreements with existing partners.
  • Be a designated startup coach for some of the startups enrolled in our Startup Programme and do 1:1 sessions with these startups.
  • Run existing - and potentially develop new - workshops on general startup topics. 
  • Be a general funding adviser on both soft and hard funding for all users in Skylab.
  • Support and co-manage Skylab’s Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

We expect you to have:

  • Relevant academic background
  • Experience from startups or from the startup ecosystem in Denmark or abroad
  • A passion for working with startups and young entrepreneurs
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Danish

The Department of Electronic Systems at The Technical Faculty of IT and Design invites applications for one or more postdoc positions in the field of AI for RF and Microwave Systems as per February 1, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. Your work tasks
You will conduct research at the intersection of AI, RF, and wireless communication. Your main tasks include developing machine-learning methods for wireless interference detection, mitigation, edge intelligence, and applying AI to optimize RF and communication systems.

You will work with real measurement data and participate in both algorithm development and experimental validation. You will collaborate with industrial and academic partners; get access to advanced laboratory and computing facilities, and contribute to publications and project.
   
Your competencies
You have a strong research motivation in electronic engineering, wireless communication, applied AI, or a related field. You have experience with machine learning and signal processing, and preferably knowledge of RF or wireless systems. You can work with experimental data (e.g., baseband I/Q data), develop and evaluate algorithms, and communicate results clearly. You enjoy collaborative research and can contribute to publications, project applications, and an active research environment. Candidates based in the EU who can start at short notice will be given priority.

Researcher in Detection of Weak Magnetic Signals generated by Active Neurons at the Department of Neuroscience

Background

The position is part of the project “BIO-MAG” funded by the NovoNordisk Fonden challenge programme 2021 “Smart Nanomaterials for Applications in Life Science”. It is a collaboration between the Department of Energy conversion and storage, the Department of Physics of Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) (Professor Nini Pryds; Professor Peter Bøggild; Dr Alexander Huck) and the Department of Neuroscience (IN) of the University of Copenhagen (Dr Jean-François Perrier). The aim of BIO-MAG is to create magnetic sensors capable of subpicotesla sensitivity at room-temperature using two-dimensional (2D) materials with designed quantum properties for the detection of magnetic field produced by active neurons.

Your job

The specific aim of the current position is to develop original biological preparations that will be used for the detection of magnetitic field generated by evoked action potentials. The DTU teams will develop novel Extraordinary Magnetoresistance (EMR) sensors (See Park et al., 2020: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-020-17377-0) and color center magnetometers (see Webb et al., 2021: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-021-81828-x). Your task will consist in testing the ability of these sensors to detect neuronal activity in slice preparations and eventually in vivo.



Profile

Terms of employment

Currently, the monthly salary starts at 40 781 DKK + Pension (7 369 DKK). Depending on qualifications, a supplement may be negotiated. The employer will pay an additional 17.1 % to your pension fund.

Non-Danish and Danish applicants may be eligible for tax reductions, if they hold a PhD degree and have not lived in Denmark the last 10 years.
