Distributor Development - Inside Sales
PELEMAN INDUSTRIES NV
Belgium, PUURS-SINT-AMANDS

Inside role | Existing distributors | Upsell & activation

At Peleman, we believe every message deserves to stand out. As a marketing-led organisation, we help brands elevate their content through premium printed presentation solutions that make an impact. Visually, tactically and emotionally.

To strengthen our distributor performance across Europe, we’re hiring a Distributor Developer in Puurs. You’ll focus on activating and growing our long-tail distributor network, around 50 smaller distributors, through proactive remote follow-up.

This is a farmer-first role (relationship, retention, consistency), with a hunter edge (spot opportunities, spark momentum, drive upsell).

Your role

You will manage a portfolio of existing distributors and help them perform better: more product adoption, more repeat orders, better follow-up, and stronger engagement with Peleman. You’ll call, coach, and energise partners, turning “silent” accounts into active, growing accounts.

You’ll be the person who knows what’s happening in the field without being in the field.

You’re the kind of person who can build energy through a phone call. You combine warmth with commercial instinct: you listen well, you ask smart questions, and you’re comfortable nudging people toward action.

You’re structured, consistent and persistent and you get satisfaction from turning small improvements into steady growth over time.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of ±50 existing distributors (long-tail network)

  • Proactively contact partners by phone/video to:

    • understand what’s working / what’s blocking sales

    • identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities

    • recommend the right products, bundles and use cases

    • drive re-orders and recurring momentum

  • Create simple growth plans per distributor (next actions, priorities, cadence)

  • Re-activate inactive or low-performing distributors with targeted campaigns and follow-up

  • Support distributors with product knowledge and positioning (how to sell Peleman, how to pitch value)

  • Capture distributor feedback and market insights and share it internally

  • Maintain accurate CRM notes, pipeline signals and action tracking

  • Collaborate with marketing, customer support and field colleagues to coordinate partner actions

Your profile

  • Experience in inside sales, account management, customer success, sales development or partner management (B2B)

  • Strong phone communication skills, you can engage and influence remotely

  • A natural “relationship builder” who still loves targets and results

  • Commercial mindset: confident in upsell/cross-sell and spotting opportunities

  • Organised and disciplined in follow-up and CRM administration

  • Comfortable working with many smaller accounts at once (high-volume portfolio)

  • Fluent English required
