What does your day look like?

Main objectives

• You support or lead engineering projects on insulated panel lines and single skin production lines.
• You initiate, deploy and sign off process and efficiency improvement modifications to manufacturing systems.
• You carry out design and testing tasks linked to project proposals.
• You support the local engineering and production teams during major breakdowns or faults, often at short notice.

Main responsibilities

• You execute specific engineering tasks assigned by the Group Senior Controls Engineer.
• You provide software and electrical engineering input to divisional project and design teams.
• You produce electrical engineering designs and project deliverables in line with Kingspan engineering standards.
• You proactively identify and support value-added improvement initiatives.
• You work closely with Production, Quality, Safety and Controls colleagues to ensure plant priorities are met.
• You represent the Controls department in meetings and contribute actively from an engineering perspective.
• You continuously develop your skills by attending technical and safety training.
• You proactively correct and modify recurring machine processing faults.
• You ensure that any machinery modifications comply with CE machinery safety regulations and required performance levels.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a strong background in controls engineering, with profound knowledge of Siemens TIA, focusing on PLC and motion

QA release Specialist is an exempt level position with responsibilities for providing quality oversight over the production of a personalized cell therapy to support both clinical and commercial requirements in a sterile GMP environment. This includes paper/electronic batch record reviews related to the manufacturing of viral vector and autologous CAR-T products for clinical trials and commercial operation in a controlled cGMP cleanroom environment. Job duties are performed within a team according to an assigned, production shift schedule.

• Reviews documentation for all manufacturing activity execution in accordance with good documentation practices.
• Independently executes paper/electronic batch record review associated with commercial; development; and engineering production.
• Performs duties under limited supervision and according to standard operating and manufacturing procedures.
• Contributes to process improvement of batch records and turnaround times to ensure turnaround times and QA batch disposition deadlines.
• Collaborates within Manufacturing to resolve batch record discrepancies or errors as it relates to Good Documentation Practices or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) inventory.
• Implements appropriate corrective and preventive actions by investigating non-conformances in a timely manner.
• Strive to reduce non-conformances in supported areas by dedicatedly driving compliance.
• Perform tasks in a manner consistent with the safety policies; quality systems and cGMP requirements.

• A Degree in Science, Information Science or equivalent technical discipline is required.
• A minimum of 4 years relevant work experience is required. It is preferable that the candidate have experience working in an aseptic manufacturing facility,preferably in quality assurance, manufacturing compliance,clinical quality, or cell therapy. 
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA/EU guidance related to manufacturing of cell based products as well as knowledge of Good Tissue Practices.

The research projects

You will be part of national and international funded projects focusing on the development of next-generation technologies for sustainable energy systems. Our research spans: advanced power converter systems for Power-to-X (PtX) applications, electrochemical energy storage, microgrid solutions, the integration of quantum computing into power systems, and other emerging energy technologies aimed at decarbonizing modern energy and transportation sectors.
We design solutions for a wide range of applications, including smart cities and residential self-consumption, backup power in isolated areas, energy management systems, and grid balancing for renewable power integration. A key line of work is the creation of intelligent, modular, and scalable battery pack concepts for urban electromobility—covering everything from mid-size electric vehicles to large electric buses.
Another important focus is the development of disruptive power converter topologies, enabled by wide bandgap semiconductors and cutting-edge digital control. These innovations enhance efficiency, power density, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability across applications.
In parallel, we advance microgrid technologies, supporting developing countries in achieving climate neutrality by integrating photovoltaic systems, biomass-based combined heat and power (CHP), and application-specific energy storage systems. We are also exploring how quantum computing can unlock new optimization and control strategies in future power systems.
Our projects are conducted in an international and multidisciplinary environment, bringing together expertise from across Europe in electrochemistry, energy storage, power electronics, process engineering, smart sensors, IoT, and solar power. Together, we pursue the common goal of accelerating the decarbonization of energy and transportation systems through innovation and cross-sector collaboration.

Your qualifications

We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a strong background in electrical engineering, ideally specialized in power electronics for energy storage systems, battery management system (BMS) design, microgrid optimization, and control system development.

You should be experienced in designing systems to meet state-of-the-art standards, selecting components based on performance, reliability, and cost, and validating designs through simulation and testing. Experience in advanced BMS development, control strategies, and system integration is an advantage.

Who we are

The Section for Electrical Energy Technology focuses on energy system integration and supporting the energy transition towards a more efficient, circular, and reliable energy system. Our work covers coordinated planning and operation across multiple energy systems, renewable energy production, infrastructure, and end-use consumption.
The section is in a phase of rapid growth in both education and research, currently running more than ten large-scale projects. In recent years, it has become the leading study environment in Denmark for electrical power engineering at the bachelor level.

We have established the RESCUE Laboratory (rescuelab.au.dk), which is actively used by researchers, students, and industry partners. The laboratory provides a hands-on environment for exploring future energy systems based on full integration of renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and biogas, combined with advanced storage solutions.

Our activities also extend to Aarhus University’s campus in Herning, where we have launched Denmark’s first online degree programme in electrical energy technology.

The position

This tenure track position will strengthen and complement ongoing research in sensory and consumer science, in the area of human perception of food and beverages at the Department of Food Science. This position is focused on the interface between human senses and perception of food and contribute to designing healthy and sustainable food and beverage applications with high consumer acceptance.
The position is aligned to the Science Team ‘Food Quality Perception and Society’ (FQS) at the Department of Food Science http://food.au.dk/en/foodresearch/science- teams/food-quality-perception-society/. The Science Team has access to state of the art well-established sensory and analytical facilities, and advanced infrastructure, with a professional, trained and screened sensory panel and an ISO-approved sensory laboratory. Core to the team’s research approach is the measurement of human perception and acceptance of healthy and sustainable food application. Besides, in FQS there is access to instrumental and analytical techniques utilizing advanced facilities e.g. Olfactometry, Gustometry, Virtual Reality, Biometrics, GC-MS, LC-MS and NMR. There is also potential to access complementary research infrastructure via our close collaborators in psychology, physiology and neuro-imaging fields.

The candidate

The successful candidate must have a strong research profile in sensory and consumer science, more specifically in human multisensory perception and acceptance of healthy and sustainable food.

In addition, the candidate must be able to demonstrate promise of outstanding capabilities in independent research, dissemination, and funding. A tenure track appointment requires demonstration of independent and novel research initiatives and international experience as a post-doc, demonstrated by a significant number of international publications.

The Department of Food Science

The Department of Food Science is part of the Faculty of Technology, Aarhus University and includes research across the food value chain within the areas of Plant Production Systems, Biofunctional Food, Systems Biology, Food Chemistry and Technology, Food Quality, and Sensory and Consumer Science. • Je werkt van vrijdag tem zondag (vrijdag 6-14u, 8u30-17u of 12u30-20u - kan je zelf kiezen, zaterdag en zondag 8u30 - 17u). 
• Je bent beschikbaar om u opleiding te volgen van maandag tot vrijdag van 8u30 tot 17u, deze kan tot 6 maand duren

Je maakt deel uit van Group Treasury, de afdeling die ervoor zorgt dat de balans van KBC op een veilige en rendabele manier wordt beheerd. Group Treasury genereert daarbij een groot deel van de rente-inkomsten die de belangrijkste bron van winstgevendheid blijven voor KBC Groep. Dit gebeurt via:

• Asset & Liability management - het beheren van de rentepositie en de beleggingsportefeuilles van bank en verzekering om meer rente-inkomsten te genereren;
• Optimalisering van de balanssamenstelling en beheer van de liquiditeit en de financieringskosten/mix van de bankdochters en de groep door het aantrekken van korte- en langetermijnfinanciering op de markt en door het sturen van de interne financieringskosten van de dochters en de commerciële activiteiten;
• Beheersing van de kortetermijnvolatiliteit van de winst-en-verliesrekening en de kapitaalratio's via de toepassing van hedge accounting-technieken.

Group Treasury en de lokale Treasuries in alle dochterondernemingen werken nauw samen en staan ook in nauw contact met de verschillende commerciële activiteiten. In dit opzicht biedt Treasury een unieke kans om te werken in een intellectueel uitdagende omgeving die een helikopterview biedt op bank- en verzekeringsactiviteiten met een focus op internationale samenwerking. De digitalisering biedt tal van opportuniteiten en uitdagingen op het vlak van thesaurie (digitale munten, efficiënter klantengedrag, ander concurrentiegedrag, ...) die Group Treasury op de voet volgt en waarvoor oplossingen worden ontwikkeld.

Jobomschrijving

Tijdens je stage zal je typisch 2 tot max 3 rollen opnemen die je zullen toelaten om kennis te maken met verschillende aspecten van de Treasury activiteiten, o.a. de ontwikkeling van nieuwe strategieën, frameworks & processen, het brengen van strategische boodschappen naar het senior management... Dit kan zijn op het gebied van renterisicobeheer, financiering en liquiditeit, asset mix management, interne prijszetting, balansprognoses en meer.

Specifieke rollen worden toegewezen op basis van competenties en interesses en worden ook gekozen om on-the-job leermogelijkheden te bieden.

Stageperiode vanaf september 2026

• Je bent momenteel student actuariële wetenschappen.
• Je hebt een brede financiële interesse, zowel in het bank- als in het verzekeringswezen, en je houdt ervan om een overkoepelende kijk te hebben op verschillende domeinen;
• Je bent een teamspeler met een open analytische geest;
• Je bent leergierig;
• Je hebt het vermogen om duurzame samenwerkingen met stakeholders te ontwikkelen (bv. lokale treasurers, andere groepsfuncties). Deze samenwerking is gebaseerd op wederzijds respect en open communicatie. Conflicterende standpunten worden ter sprake gebracht en opgelost, niet uit de weg gegaan;
• Je hebt een can-do, pragmatische instelling, gericht op het bereiken van zinvolle resultaten, ook als dat betekent dat je compromissen moet sluiten;

FUNCTIE OMSCHRIJVING

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse goede gang van zaken op de koer. 
Daarbij zorg je ervoor, dat bepaalde interne bestellingen klaarstaan voor afhaling.
Je helpt bij het lossen en laden van de machines en goederen.

Je taken bestaan onder andere uit:

• Je neemt de verantwoordelijkheid voor de verschillende taken op de koer,
• Het klaarzetten van gevraagde materialen voor ophaling ter transport,
• Overzicht en controle behouden op de terugkerende materialen van de werven,
• Je zorgt voor de schoonmaak van de machines wanneer nodig,
• Melden van defecten van terugkerende voertuigen en/of materiaal,
• Je zorgt voor de nodige orde, netheid en structuur op de koer,
• Je werkt nauw samen met de medewerkers van de garage en het magazijn,
• Je helpt mee met allerhande klusjes, o.a. palletten maken, groendienst,...

• Je hebt voldoende technische kennis in huis om je weg te vinden tussen de verschillende materialen,
• Je houdt van orde, netheid en structuur,
• Je kan zelfstandig werken en bent stressbestendig,
• Je steekt graag de handen uit de mouwen en wil dat alles correct wordt verwerkt,
• Je draagt zorg voor het materiaal en de gereedschappen waarmee je werkt,
• Je beheerst de Nederlandse taal,
• Je bezit een rijbewijs B/BE en kan verschillende voertuigen besturen. Rijbewijs C is een extra troef,
• Het bezitten van extra kwalificaties (VCA-basis, attesten voor het besturen van allerhande machines zoals heftruck) is altijd een meerwaarde,
• Je bent een teamspeler die mee helpt zoeken naar oplossingen en je eigen inbreng kunnen we altijd appreciëren.

In deze functie werk je als spuiter en carrossier met focus op Day Repairs, waarbij je verantwoordelijk bent voor snelle, efficiënte en hoogwaardige herstellingen van voertuigen. Je combineert technisch vakmanschap met doelgericht werken, zodat elke klant tevreden de weg op kan.

Elke dag is anders en biedt nieuwe uitdagingen waarin je jouw kennis en ervaring volledig kan inzetten. Je werkt nauw samen met collega’s om een vlotte doorlooptijd en een hoog niveau van afwerking te garanderen.

• Uitvoeren van Day Repairs: kleine tot middelgrote schades herstellen binnen één dag
