En tant que soigneur animalier pour principalement le secteur grands chiens, vous veillez au bien-être des animaux, à l'entretien des locaux occupés par ceux-ci et au nourrissage. Vous apportez occasionnellement un support aux autres secteurs (nacs - ovins - caprins) en fonction de la charge de travail. 

QUE DEVEZ-VOUS FAIRE ?

  • Vous êtes responsable des animaux de votre secteur et connaissez leur fiche signalétique (nom, état de santé, soins particuliers,...);
  • Vous nettoyez les enclos et locaux des animaux ;
  • Vous participez au rangement des lieux de stockage ainsi qu'à leur entretien ;
  • Vous nettoyez le matériel et veillez à l'utiliser correctement ;
  • Vous participez à la préparation et à la distribution des repas ;
  • Vous veillez au bien-être des animaux : interactions, jeux, brossage ;
  • Vous observez les animaux : leur état de santé, leur comportement et vous en informez le vétérinaire, le responsable et vos collègues ;
  • Vous assistez le vétérinaire (lors de manipulations, de soins de base, d'opérations) ;
  • Vous accueillez les visiteurs, les accompagnez lors de la rencontre avec l'animal et vous faites respecter les règles ;
  • Vous participez aux événements de l'Association ;
  • Vous vous impliquez activement en accord avec votre responsable pour soutenir la bonne conduite du centre sur le long-terme.
  • Vous disposez d'une formation qualifiante dans le secteur animalier (formation en tant que soigneur animalier, ASV,..) ; 
  • Vous êtes à l'aise avec les différentes espèces du refuge (chiens, chats, rongeurs, moutons) ; 
  • Vous avez une expérience de plusieurs années dans la manipulation des chiens de grandes tailles en refuge ;
  • Vous avez une formation en éducation canine ou en comportement canin ;
  • Une expérience avec des chiens avec des problèmes de comportements (réactivité, anxiété, agressivité) est un plus ;
  • Vous êtes passionné par les animaux ;
  • Vous êtes une personne sérieuse et disponible, tant pour vos collègues que pour les visiteurs ;
  • Vous êtes rigoureux dans votre travail et respectez les règles de sécurité et d'hygiène ;
  • Vous êtes polyvalent et vous adaptez aux différents secteurs du refuge en fonction des besoins ;
  • Vous avez une bonne résistance physique et émotionnelle ; vous êtes capable de travailler dans un environnement particulier (odeurs, bruits,...).
  • Vous ne présentez pas d'allergie particulière (animaux, produits d'entretien) ;
  • Une connaissance du néerlandais est un plus. 
  • Un contrat à durée déterminée de 6 mois (prolongation possible).
  • Un contrat à temps plein (38H/semaine) réparti sur 5 jours avec des prestations durant les weekends (2 à 3 weekends par mois). 
  • Un environnement de travail bienveillant et collégial au sein d'une équipe qui partage les mêmes valeurs.
  • Une rémunération en lien avec le secteur des ASBL (barème CP 337), des chèques repas, le remboursement des frais de transport et prime de fin d'année.
