Job description
The positions are funded by the project Algebraic Hardness and Applications (AHA), which is supported by the Carlsberg Foundation.
Who can apply? To be eligible to apply for these positions, applicants need to have or be about to obtain either a BSc or an MSc degree (or their equivalent qualifications) in computer science, mathematics, or a related field. The qualified candidates are expected to have a good background and passionate interest in mathematics and computer science, demonstrated by having credited relevant courses such as Complexity Theory, Advanced Algorithms, Probability Theory, Real and Complex Analysis, Calculus, and Combinatorics. Or they may be demonstrated by results at the Olympiads of Mathematics or Informatics, or by publication in relevant internationally recognized conferences or journals.
Applicants need to be motivated for doctoral studies; should possess the ability to self-organize tasks and perform critical analysis; and also have good levels of communicative abilities and English language skills. The working language of the group is English, and knowledge of English is also fully sufficient to navigate every-day life in Scandinavia in general.
These positions are available for period of 3-4 years, depending on the current education level of the applicant. The starting date is negotiable, but the default would be in August-September 2026. All PhD positions in the research group are fully funded, employed positions (including travel money) that come with an internationally competitive salary.
The Scientific Environment
The TCS section at ITU has a highly reputable research environment, with a strong presence at top-tier conferences like STOC, FOCS, and SODA. This project will additionally benefit from our close ties with the Basic Algorithms Research Copenhagen (BARC) centre (barc.ku.dk) set up at Copenhagen University. We are also well-connected with researchers at the University of Southern Denmark, Aarhus University, and Lund University. Between the Copenhagen University and IT University of Copenhagen, we host many visitors every month, run a lot of seminars and talks. As a common goal, we aim to create fundamental breakthroughs in algorithms and complexity theory, using the power of mathematics.

The IT University of Copenhagen (ITU) is a teaching and research-based university specializing in information technology (IT) and the opportunities it offers. The IT University has more than 160 full-time Faculty members. Research and teaching in information technology span all academic activities which involve computers including computer science, information and media sciences, humanities and social sciences, business impact and the commercialization of IT.

Teaching at the IT University of Copenhagen

Salary and terms of employment
Appointment and salary will be in accordance with the Ministry of Taxation’s agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC) and job structure for academic staff at universities.
Qualification Requirements
The following qualifications are required:
- 3-year programme: candidates should have an MSc (or equivalent)
- 4-year programme: candidates should have a BSc and one year of university studies on Master level

The IT University may use shortlisting in connection to the recruitment process. In case of shortlisting, the Chair of the hiring committee selects applicants for assessment in consultation with the hiring committee after the application deadline. All applicants are notified whether their application has been passed for assessment. The shortlisting of candidates for assessment is based on the criteria in the job posting.

Comptant plus de 200 collaborateurs, cette structure dynamique est un acteur clé de la transition énergétique, de l'électricité et du chauffage à destination des particuliers et des professionnels.
Dans le cadre du fort développement de leur département dédié à l'énergie, vous occupez un poste stratégique. Vous êtes responsable du processus de vente de A à Z, depuis la phase d'étude technique jusqu'au transfert du dossier aux équipes de terrain.
Vos missions principales :

Développement commercial : Vous prospectez, développez et fidélisez un portefeuille de clients professionnels (BtoB) et institutionnels en identifiant de nouvelles opportunités de marché.

Étude et chiffrage : Vous analysez les cahiers des charges (marchés publics et privés) et participez activement à la construction des réponses techniques et commerciales (panneaux solaires, bornes de recharge, batteries, autoconsommation).

Négociation et suivi : Vous assurez les visites sur site, menez les réunions de clarification avec les clients et assurez le suivi commercial et administratif rigoureux des dossiers jusqu’à leur conclusion.

Coordination interne : En collaboration avec les équipes internes, vous rédigez les offres et organisez les réunions de transfert de dossiers avec les équipes opérationnelles (exécution). Vous encodez minutieusement toutes les données de vos projets dans l'ERP.
Pour relever ce défi tourné vers l'avenir, vous présentez le profil suivant :

Formation : Vous êtes titulaire d'un diplôme de niveau Bachelier (à orientation technique ou commerciale).

Expérience : Vous justifiez d'une expérience confirmée et réussie en tant que technico-commercial BtoB, idéalement acquise dans le secteur du photovoltaïque, de l'énergie ou de la transition énergétique.

Compétences techniques : Vous possédez une excellente aisance dans la rédaction de propositions commerciales et techniques structurées. La connaissance de l’électricité tertiaire constitue un sérieux atout.

Outils : Vous maîtrisez les outils informatiques courants et la gestion commerciale via un ERP.

Qualités personnelles : Doté(e) d'un excellent sens du contact et d'une très bonne présentation, vous êtes un(e) négociateur(trice) né(e). Vous alliez une grande rigueur administrative à une forte autonomie, tout en appréciant le travail en équipe.

Du vil samarbeide tett med store, brede og velkjente profiler og vil sammen med det norske innholdsteamet levere innhold av høy kvalitet i et høyt tempo.
Du vil få muligheten til å lede en liten, men viktig redaksjon og få stor innflytelse på hvordan podkasten utvikler seg. Det er en nyopprettet stilling.
I tillegg til denne produksjonen vil du støtte utviklingen av øvrige podkaster, bidra til planlegging av innholdsporteføljen og bidra til å utvikle nye formater og talenter.

Samarbeide med innholds- og produksjonsteamet for å balansere ambisjoner med leveranseevne, samt bruke innsikt og data for å videreutvikle og planlegge sesonger.
Konsept- og innholdsutvikling
Utvikle nye journalistiske konsepter for lansering, samt identifisere historier og talenter som kan styrke porteføljen.
Bidra til porteføljeplanlegging: publiseringsplan, identifisere mangler og prioritere utviklingsløp.
Bidra til å skalere innholdet vårt ved å definere kjerneområder og underkategorier, samt bygge nye formater og talenter.
Dette er deg
Minimum 5 års erfaring med journalistikk og redaksjonelt arbeid med podkast (nyheter/samfunn, undersøkende journalistikk, historiefortelling).
Dokumentert erfaring med å lede en redaksjonell produksjon under tidsfrister, med gode ferdigheter innen historiefortelling og intervjuteknikk.
Sterk dømmekraft, gode samarbeidsevner og erfaring med stakeholder management. Du er komfortabel med å bruke innsikt og data for å forbedre innholdet.
Svært strukturert og i stand til å håndtere flere parallelle prosesser samtidig som du holder teamet samlet.
Sterk formidlingsevne på både norsk (flytende) og engelsk, skriftlig og muntlig.
