As part of LIST's SUSTAIN unit (Environmental Sustainability Assessment and Circularity), the Environmental Policies (EPS) group provides science-based input to the definition and implementation of environmental policies at national and EU level, in particular policies around chemical safety, circular (bio-)economy (e.g. in construction and textile), soil pollution, climate, and water efficiency, and feeds, at the interface of science, technologies and policies, the regulatory perspective into RDI projects around these topics. As member of the team, you will contribute to the circular transition to reduce the impacts caused by the extraction and consumption of raw materials and to adapt to a changing climate, to keep materials in their highest value use for as long as possible, to minimize and efficiently handle waste and to ensure high-quality re-use and recycled materials. You will focus on the policy perspective of the built environment and the construction sector, but activities can address also other waste streams. In particular, you will: · Contribute to the Interreg project PREUSE on the re-use of building materials, e.g. on assessing environmental and health impacts of re-use, preparation of tools and guidance, literature and data review, exchanges with national authorities and municipalities, etc. · Contribute to the work of the group with national public authorities around circular construction, in particular waste reduction and selective deconstruction in Luxembourg, e.g. on stakeholder surveys, definition of best practise, policy benchmarking, etc. · Contribute to the work with national stakeholders to adapt to climate change, e.g. on organising stakeholder exchanges and supporting the knowledge transfer from other EU regions, among others in the build environment. The PDR project will be carried out within the framework of a large public-private partnership (PPP) devoted to the development of new rubber technologies. The project is tailored around the development and interpretation of spatially resolved measurements of ingredients of interest such as additives in a highly complex polymer matrix. They are considered crucial in the rubber industry under specific mixing/curing conditions and can react with the polymer matrix and/or the filler surface. Mass Spectrometry (MS) coupled with chromatographic techniques (LC, GC, GPC), combined with advanced technologies such as MS imaging, will represent key aspects for achieving the project's objectives. The development of analytical strategies will be based in particular on existing (ESI, APCI) and emerging (plasma- or laser-assisted) ionization techniques. How will you contribute? In this role, you will be part of a multicultural and multidisciplinary team of highly skilled scientists and engineers. This is a great opportunity to acquire highly valuable skills in the application of multiple characterization techniques, including MS imaging, NMR spectroscopy, and chromatography. We are looking for a researcher with relevant experience in quantitative applications of the circular economy domain, in particular in circularity assessment. The successful candidate shall demonstrate strong expertise in circularity assessment methodologies and indicators, in particular in the development and application of advanced metrics (e.g. Material Circularity Indicator, Circularity Transition Indicators) for evaluating circular performance of products, processes and systems. She/he shall possess a proven track record in sustainable circular systems research, with documented experience in designing and implementing circularity assessment frameworks across various scales from product to sectoral level. The candidate shall be equally versed in theoretical and applied research on circular economy transitions, with demonstrated ability to develop novel circularity indicators and assessment tools that capture multiple dimensions of circularity including material flows, value retention, and system regeneration. Som administratör inom materialsäkerhet får du möjlighet att spela en nyckelroll i att avlasta ett specialistteam inom compliance och strukturera den data som krävs för en hållbar framtid. Om tjänsten Vi söker nu för Husqvarnas räkning en administratör inom Material Compliance som vill vara en viktig del i det globala Product Compliance-teamet. Rollen innebär ett brett administrativt stöd för att säkerställa att produkter uppfyller globala lagkrav, med fokus på noggrannhet, kommunikation och datakoordinering. I rollen kommer du att arbeta med att stämma av produktkalendrar och hantera lagstiftningsrapportering för kemikalier inom EU, samt samordning, rapportering, uppföljning och dokumentation. Du kommer att ingå i ett kemikalie-team på tre personer, där ni tillsammans med resten av avdelningen på 20 personer bevakar produktlagstiftning globalt. Vi ser gärna att du som söker är en kommunikativ och samarbetsvillig person med ett stort öga för detaljer. Du trivs med att arbeta med stora datamängder, har förmågan att se mönster och gillar det dagliga mötet med interna stakeholders. Då arbetsmiljön är internationell sker majoriteten av arbetet på engelska. Läs mer om vårt konsulterbjudande. Arbetsuppgifter Administrera återkommande aktiviteter kopplade till Material Compliance i olika projekt. Följa upp processteg och samordna nödvändig input för löpande rapportering. Stötta rapporteringsprocesser för substanser, såsom SCIP-rapportering och Artikel 33. Strukturera och underhålla dokumentation för regelefterlevnad och interna beslut. Avlasta produktspecialister genom att hantera administrativa uppgifter och daglig koordination. Hjälpa till med administration kring riskbedömningar och tester för att säkerställa att material uppfyller gällande krav. Hantera, analysera och förbereda material inför granskningar, samt att följa upp att eventuella problem åtgärdas och dokumenteras. Vi söker dig som Avancerade kunskaper i engelska, både i tal och skrift. Dokumenterad erfarenhet av administrativt arbete eller koordinering. Förmåga att kommunicera och samarbeta effektivt. Vana av att arbeta med stora datamängder. Förmåga att arbeta självständigt även i situationer med otydliga ramar. Det är meriterande om du har Goda kunskaper i svenska. Erfarenhet av att arbeta i en internationell miljö. En eftergymnasial utbildning inom kemi, miljövetenskap, materialteknik eller motsvarande.
