De functie Als toezichthouder kabels en leidingen controleer je de ligging van de kabels en leidingen zoals ze in de vergunning afgegeven zijn. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het toezicht houden op graafwerkzaamheden in het openbaar gebied. Je haalt informatie bij de ontwerpers ten behoeve van de realisatie van inrichting, en stemt de planning af met de projectleider van het werk. Van belang is dat de planning van de vooruitlopende werkzaamheden gevolgd wordt. Door dagelijkse controle bij de werkzaamheden zorg je ervoor dat het project welke gaat starten, uit kan gaan van de juiste ligging van de kabels en leidingen. Je werkt sterk samen met de coördinator kabels en leidingen, de projectleider van het werk, nutsbedrijven, burgers en aannemers. Je rapporteert aan de coördinator kabels en leidingen omtrent voortgang, risico's en eventuele onvoorziene situaties. Het afhandelen van klachten en meldingen op het gebied van kabels en leidingen betreffende het straatwerk behoort eveneens tot de werkzaamheden. In voorkomende gevallen ondersteun je eveneens de toezichthouders riolering en bestrating.Je bent een pro-actieve toezichthouder. Je bent een netwerker en een bruggenbouwer met als specialisme kabels, leidingen, graaf- en straatwerkzaamheden.
