We are looking for a Sales Manager, Shaft Line Solution
to take the lead in commercial and naval marine business for the Shaft Line Solutions (SLS) portfolio across The Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. The preferred location is Schiedam, Netherlands, with Drunen or another Dutch location also possible. Hybrid and remote work options are available.
As Sales Manager, you'll drive sales, grow market share, and contribute to the success of the Western Europe team. Your performance will be measured by order intake, net sales, profitability, and KPIs set by the Regional Manager and SLS Management.
Your main responsibilities are: - Proactive customer interfacing to generate leads and sales opportunities. - Increase market share of SLS portfolio. - Manage opportunity pipeline and customer visits in CRM. - Update and follow up feedback from customers in The Netherlands, Belgium & Luxemburg. - Build and develop customer relationships in The Netherlands, Belgium & Luxemburg with ship owners, ship managers, ship designers, shipyards, OEM's, Navy and marine agencies. - Actively engage with other (global) functions and team members to capture opportunities. - Ensure quality of contracts are in line with Wärtsilä policies. - Cu...
