The position is part of a new initiative launched in January 2019, the Swedish Workplace Program (SWP). The SWP is a partnership model that uses social dialog at the workplace to promote decent work and support development of sustainable business. The program builds on 14 years of experience from already existing workplace programs (SWHAP) and a network of over 500 workplaces in Sub-Saharan Africa. The SWP will run for four years (2019-2022) in Africa, Asia, MENA and Latin America. As a Program Manager at NIR, you are based in Stockholm and report to the SWP Program Director. You will be part of formulating and developing the new program during the inception phase in 2019. The SWP program is a partnership between NIR and the Swedish Metalworkers’ Union (IF Metall) and is funded by Sida, Stockholm.
