HR Manager – contributing to the green energy transition
Nordic RCC A/S
Denmark, København S

Do you thrive on developing organisations? Do you want to take part in driving the green energy transition in Europe towards a fully carbon-neutral, sustainable energy system? Do you enjoy working with curious and enthusiastic engineers, IT professionals and colleagues in support functions, working together as a fellowship? Then you might be the person we are looking for.

Nordic RCC – supporting security of supply and the green energy transition

Nordic Regional Coordination Centre (RCC) provides critical services and insights to support the national Transmission System Operators (TSOs) in Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark — to ensure the efficient operation and use of the Nordic power system and high security of power supply at any time.

Based in Copenhagen, Nordic RCC is one of six RCCs in Europe, equally owned by the Nordic region's four electricity TSOs: Fingrid, Statnett, Svenska Kraftnät, and Energinet.

As European power systems integrate and evolve to meet climate goals, Nordic RCC provides regional coordination, integrated services, regional insights and recommendations to the Nordic TSOs and their control centres, to support cross-border operational security 24/7.

Join Nordic RCC, a fast-developing company determined to make a significant impact in the energy sector and to provide for a secure and efficient transition to the green, sustainable energy system.

Right now, we are looking for an HR Manager who likes to make a difference!

Job description:

Nordic RCC has grown significantly over the past years. We were 50 employees by the end of 2022, which increased to 100 in 2024 and to 135 employees today. For the right candidate, we offer a fantastic opportunity to become the HR Manager at a company going through an exciting transformation. Coming from a period of high growth, we are now focusing on stabilising and maturing the organisation, driving resilient and efficient operations and development.

Responsibilities:

As the HR Manager at Nordic RCC, you will get a broad role that spans from strategic HR responsibilities to more hands-on tasks. Your job will include:

  • Overall responsibility for the professional management, quality, development and compliance of the HR area

  • Leading the organisational development and initiatives, and nurturing the organisational culture

  • Promoting employee satisfaction, motivation and development

  • Leading an active approach to Diversity, Equality & Inclusion (DEI)

  • Offering CEO advice on organisational development and HR issues in general

  • Providing HR sparring and support to the Extended Leadership Team

  • Establish, drive, and develop HR policies and processes

  • Recruitments (interviews and test feedback)

  • Reviewing employment terms and employee benefits, including collective agreements and shift/on-call agreements

  • Facilitating engagement surveys and working environment surveys

  • Providing advice and ensure compliance on HR legal matters

  • Being the secretary for the Collaboration Committee (SU)

You will report to the COO and be part of our Strategy & Company Functions (SCF) team which covers Finance, HR, Legal, support to the CEO and the Board of Directors, Strategy, Communications and Office Management. In the HR area, we will have you, an HR Operations Manager, an HR Consultant and a Training Manager − as well as several of our SCF colleagues who support specific areas within HR like payroll, onboarding and cross-organisational projects. It will be your responsibility to coordinate the work of your colleagues working with HR tasks.

Requirements:

From your previous jobs as an HR professional, you have gained solid experience in multiple aspects across the HR area, including HR Business Partnering for top management. Your educational background is most likely within Human Resource Management, organisational development or leadership development.

In addition, you are

  • A strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities and develop proactive solutions within HR

  • Empathetic and have a strong focus on the employees’ well-being

  • Naturally driven by business impact and have a structured approach to your work

  • Outgoing and have the ability to build strong, trust-based relations

  • Knowledgeable about Danish employment and labour law

  • Proficient in both Danish and English

We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the listed requirements.
