Build the financial engine behind global sustainable impact
Do you want to build and evolve the financial technology platform that enables investments — from climate and health to food systems worldwide? And are you ready to play a pivotal technical role in one of the most ambitious digital transformations in Danish development finance?
At Impact Fund Denmark, you join a mission-driven organisation with a clear purpose — to finance projects that bring sustainable development to life, from forestry in Paraguay to solar energy in Brazil and diagnostics in Bangladesh.
Here is what you get with us:
A central role in evolving our Dynamics 365 F&O platform
Collaboration with skilled colleagues, data engineers, and business stakeholders in a friendly, inclusive culture
Access to the full Microsoft enterprise stack in a modern, tech-driven environment
Global impact, strong IT culture and meaningful teamwork
Impact Fund Denmark is Denmark's development finance institution, investing in sustainable solutions that create measurable impact in developing countries. While headquartered in Copenhagen, our work extends across more than 45 countries, supported by six regional offices, uniting 24 nationalities under one purpose.
You will be part of the Technology & Operations team, which is currently expanding, including specialists in processes, architecture, data, and IT Security. Here, you will join experienced and collaborative professionals who are eager to share knowledge and support each other across disciplines.
Please note:
This position operates out of our main office in Copenhagen, and regular presence at the office is required.
While we welcome applications and are open to candidates from outside of Denmark, please note that Impact Fund Denmark will not provide relocation assistance.
The team
A place where great ideas can come from anyone
Joining us means becoming part of a warm, ambitious, and genuinely collaborative Technology & Operations Team. We are a group that thrives on shared purpose, celebrates each other's wins, and is not afraid to roll up our sleeves when things get complex. Our work spans a broad range of initiatives that shape the organisation's digital backbone — but what truly defines us is how we do it: together.
You will be surrounded by talented colleagues who bring curiosity, professionalism, and a healthy sense of humour to the table. We challenge each other, support each other, and take pride in creating solutions that make a real difference across the organisation. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are building a culture where learning is continuous and where you will have the space to influence how we work.
You develop and evolve our D365 F&O platform
We are looking for a Dynamics 365 F&O Developer to take a key role in developing, customising, and maintaining the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform that underpins our financial operations and reporting globally. You will work closely with our Solution Architect, Business Application Manager, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, scalable, and well-governed solutions.
You will, for example:
Design, develop, test, and deploy customisations and extensions in Dynamics 365 F&O
Integrate D365 F&O with other systems in our stack, including Dynamics 365 CE, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and third-party SaaS applications
Configure and optimise financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, and Budgeting
Collaborate with the Solution Architect to align development work with our enterprise architecture principles and integration patterns
Participate in and contribute to requirements workshops, translating business needs into technical designs and functional specifications
Support and maintain existing D365 F&O configurations, data entities, and custom solutions — and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Contribute to DevOpsSec practices, including ALM, source control, release management, and deployment pipelines
Produce clear technical documentation and support knowledge transfer within the team
You bring deep F&O expertise and a collaborative mindset
With your background in Dynamics 365 F&O development and configuration, you understand how to turn complex financial requirements into well-engineered solutions that stand the test of time.
We imagine that you:
Hold a relevant degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
Have solid hands-on experience developing in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
Are comfortable configuring core financial modules and translating business processes into D365 workflows
Have experience with integration patterns and tools, such as Data Entities, OData, Logic Apps, or Azure Integration Services
Understand the Power Platform ecosystem (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse) and how it connects to F&O
Are familiar with Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices for D365
Communicate clearly with both engineers and business stakeholders — bridging the technical and functional worlds
Desirably have experience from the financial sector or international development finance
Our technology stack
Our current environment is built on Microsoft technology and continues to evolve. You will work with:
Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE)
Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse)
Microsoft Fabric & Azure Data Services
Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, and more)
Several fit-for-purpose SaaS solutions and integrations
What we offer
An opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects with real social and environmental impact
A collaborative, value-driven, and international work environment
Opportunities for professional development, training, and continuous learning
A brand-new office with modern facilities close to Nordhavn Metro and S-Train station

Ready to build the financial engine behind global impact?
As part of the recruitment process, we need your targeted CV, preferably with a brief motivational statement at the top. We will be conducting interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not wait too long to apply.
CVs not submitted via the platform will not be considered. The start date is as soon as possible, but we are ready to wait for the right candidate.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Are you curious about how FP10 will change the opportunities and requirements facing universities? Are you interested in the growing expectations for innovation and impact arising from research? And would you like to work both strategically and closely with researchers and projects, with one clear objective: to strengthen SUND’s international position and secure more external funding?
Then you could play a central role in SUND Research Support. We are looking for an experienced research adviser who from 1 December 2026 can serve as our key specialist for EU and international funding opportunities – and help prepare the unit for tomorrow’s requirements in relation to funding, project delivery, innovation and societal impact.
Responsibilities
You will take an overview of EU and international funding: from developments in Horizon Europe and FP10 to specific calls, partnerships and opportunities for SUND researchers. You will translate policy and programme developments into action and help us position ourselves early as new agendas emerge.
The role spans strategic intelligence and portfolio oversight through to hands-on advice and coordination of prioritised initiatives. Some days you will work on long-term EU positioning and pipeline development; on others, closely with a researcher, an international consortium or a specific call. We do not expect you to do everything yourself, but you will need to spot opportunities, bring together the right expertise and drive progress.
Innovation and impact are important parts of the role. You will strengthen our impact-upfront approach and ensure that requirements relating to involvement, uptake, implementation and knowledge valorisation are considered early. At the same time, you will contribute to a smooth transition from pre-award to post-award, so that project delivery is considered from the outset and lessons from funded projects and project implementation feed into new applications.
You will be both a key contributor to specific EU and international initiatives and a co-developer of our shared models, workflows and portfolio overview. The aim is a more coherent approach to international funding – not simply more individual applications.
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced professional who thrives at the intersection of research, EU policy, funding, innovation and impact. You have solid experience of EU or international funding, research development or research support, and a good knowledge of Horizon Europe or other major international programmes.
You work strategically and analytically but are also keen to turn insight into tangible results. You are a strong coordinator and relationship-builder who can navigate complex processes, bring together expertise and build trust with researchers, colleagues and management. You communicate confidently in both Danish and English.
It is an advantage if you also have experience of areas such as EU policy, international consortia, Brussels networks, post-award, innovation, societal impact or knowledge valorisation. We do not expect you to be an expert in all of these areas. A PhD or other research experience may be an advantage but is not essential.
In addition, you have an understanding of and a desire to work with digitalization and artificial intelligence (AI) in relation to optimizing processes and creating value within the organization.
About SUND Research Support and the Faculty of Health Sciences
SUND Research Support assists researchers at the Faculty of Health Sciences at SDU from the early idea and funding opportunity through to application, project delivery, innovation and impact.
We aim to work more proactively with funding intelligence, positioning, partnerships and long-term pipelines – and to create stronger links between pre-award, post-award, innovation and impact. At the same time, we want to use data, organisational learning and AI more systematically.
You will have the opportunity both to work directly with researchers and projects and to help shape how a modern research support function should operate in the years ahead. You will play a central role in SUND’s international funding activities in the run-up to FP10 and help create stronger links between EU/international funding, post-award, innovation and impact.
You will work closely with strong health sciences research environments, management teams and colleagues with a range of specialist profiles. We are interested in new ways of working and in how data, digital tools and AI can add value to research support. This is an opportunity both to deliver results today and to help shape how we work tomorrow.
