We are looking for Shipyard Workers:
Spray Painters
for marine industry in Denmark
Scan Con offers jobs at the Shipyards on Reparation and New Build Departments.
Key tasks:
Paint and coatings to surfaces using spray equipment, ensuring a smooth and uniform finish
Prepare surfaces for painting, mix and match paint colors, and use various techniques to achieve desired results
Surface Preparation: includes cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces to ensure a good paint bond and smooth finish
Spray Application: involves using spray guns and other equipment to apply paint evenly and accurately, ensuring a smooth finish
Spray painters inspect their work to ensure it meets quality standards and make necessary adjustments or repairs
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining spray equipment and paint booths
Spray painters must follow strict health and safety guidelines when handling paints and solvents
Skills:
English - must be able to communicate in English
Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety
Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
Experience:
Experience from shipyards
Education or professional experience in a given position
