Geen dag is hetzelfde: je werkt op locatie, komt in contact met onze klanten en zorgt ervoor dat alles volgens de geldende normen en richtlijnen verloopt.

Waar kom je terecht?

We zoeken een keurder met minstens een badge klasse B keuringen (waterinstallaties) voor de regio Oost- en West-Vlaanderen. Je maakt deel uit van het team Keuringen binnen onze afdeling Services. Je werkt nauw samen met collega-keurders en rapporteert aan de teamleider Keuringen. Jouw standplaats is ons kantoor in Gent. Omdat je altijd op locatie werkt, vertrek je van thuis met de dienstwagen naar jouw werkplek van die dag.

Wat ga je doen?

Als keurder voer je officiële keuringen uit van waterinstallaties en privéwaterafvoer, zowel bij particuliere klanten als bij bedrijven. Daarbij combineer je technische expertise met klantgericht advies, waardoor je meer bent dan enkel een controleur - je bent een betrouwbare partner voor de klanten.

Wat doe je concreet?

  • Je voert keuringen en conformiteitsonderzoeken uit volgens de richtlijnen van AquaFlanders en/of Vlario.
  • Je beoordeelt waterveiligheid, terugstroombeveiliging, waterkwaliteit en waterafvoer.
  • Je stelt duidelijke keuringsattesten op, registreert je bevindingen nauwkeurig en communiceert helder met de klant.
  • Je zorgt voor een correct verslaggeving en administratie in de daarvoor voorziene systemen.
  • Je onderhoudt je kennis door bijscholingen en opleidingen (onder meer om je AquaFlanders- en Vlario-badges te behouden).
  • Je springt bij in andere regio's of bij uitzonderlijke opdrachten en deelt je expertise met collega's.

Je werkt altijd op locatie en bent veel onderweg om de keuringen uit te voeren. Die afwisseling geeft je de vrijheid om je werk realistisch en correct te organiseren. Tegelijk sta je er nooit alleen voor: je kan rekenen op de steun van collega's en leidinggevenden. Samen vormen jullie een hecht team.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Je hebt een geldige badge Keurder B waterinstallatie en privéwaterafvoer en hebt de verdere ambitie om door te groeien tot een keurder klasse A.
  • Je hebt een diploma secundair of hoger onderwijs in een technische richting (bijvoorbeeld installatietechniek of sanitair) of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Minimaal 2 jaar relevante ervaring in keuring, sanitair of waterbeheer is een pluspunt.
  • Je bent gemotiveerd om de waterhuishouding in Vlaanderen veiliger en duurzamer te maken.
  • Je bent klantgericht en kan complexe regelgeving op een duidelijke manier toelichten.

PhD-Student (m/f/d) Join an interdisciplinary research project at the interface of neurobiology, RNA biology, and bioinformatics. The aim of this PhD project is to decipher the regulatory mechanisms underlying RNA dysregulation in response to environmental and viral stressors. Using innovative brain organoid models, you will apply computational and experimental approaches to investigate the effects of microplastics and/or HSV-1 infections on RNA regulation in models of Alzheimer's disease and healthy controls. The insights gained are expected to contribute to a better understanding of the development and progression of neurodegenerative diseases. As part of this PhD project, you will employ state-of-the-art sequencing and analytical techniques to investigate how environmental factors and viral infections influence RNA regulation in the human brain. Objectives: Use state-of-the-art "digital twin" resources to explore the possibilities of seed optical and multispectral imaging in active genebank management. The aim is to explore how the latest developments in seed phenomics and big data analysis can be leveraged in a genebank setting. Each seed in our collection needs to be selected for viability, seed health, and genotype sorted. Combining state of the art genomic with phenomic data will aid more precise collection management and open the door to novel user access to the collection.
