Your Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, repair, and installation of complex warehouse automation systems.
- Ensure smooth operation of our installations by performing timely maintenance and resolving technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Analyze malfunctions and resolve them independently, with an eye for safety and customer satisfaction.
- Work mostly independently, but be a team player when necessary.
- Report your interventions in our system to ensure and improve quality.
Your Profile:
- Diploma in electromechanics, electricity, and/or mechanics.
- Basic knowledge of automation is a plus, such as knowledge of SCADA, use of multimeters.
- Several years of experience in a technical role is a plus.
- Work independently, accurately, and customer-oriented.
- Fluent communication in Dutch and/or English.
- No fear of heights; our work takes place at different levels.
- Good physical condition for physical work.
- Flexible and willing to work occasionally outside standard hours.
- Work in a dynamic team and in 3 shifts.
- Motivated, responsible, and keep administration tidy.
- Eager to learn and share a passion for technology.
- Knowledge of sensors, motors, PLC control systems; if this appeals to you, this job is for you.
- All-round PC skills and experience with CMMS systems, (Sprocket).

This assignment is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of XR innovation, digital learning, and technical training design. You will help develop immersive training modules for cleanroom operators, combining theoretical knowledge, hands‑on practice, and XR‑based learning experiences. This is a full‑time temporary assignment of three months, with the possibility of extension.
Tasks:
- Translate technical procedures into clear learning scripts, flows, and branching scenarios.
- Develop motivating, human‑sounding voice‑overs aligned with the training philosophy.
- Apply gamification principles such as progression, challenge, feedback, and rewards.
- Design multiple guidance levels (full guidance, delayed nudging, minimal guidance).
- Help determine where avatars, AI‑assisted voice‑overs, and gaze‑based triggers create intuitive learning experiences.
- Support the development of interactive XR scenarios that make training more natural and intelligent.
- Follow real cleanroom training sessions to understand workflows.
- Gather insights through interviews, observations, photos, and recordings, and translate them into structured learning scenarios.
- Act as a bridge between experts, trainees, researchers, and XR developers, ensuring technical accuracy and strong didactical design.
Who are we looking for?
- Strong interest in XR/VR/AR and digital learning solutions.
- Affinity with technical writing, storytelling, instructional design, or gamification.
- Curiosity to understand complex technical processes and translate them clearly.
- Excellent communication skills, including interviewing subject‑matter experts.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to structure flows, decisions, and logic.
- Creative, able to combine clarity, engagement, and learning goals.
- Experience or interest in AI‑driven content (avatars, LLM prompts, voice synthesis) is a plus.
- Excellent command of English; Flemish is an asset.
