Your tasks and responsibilities
- Plan, integrate, and orchestrate all ILS tasks and deliverables, aligning internal and external stakeholders across dedicated contracts from development and production through to the initial In-Service Phase, while guaranteeing full compliance with Air Power Services obligations.
- Spearhead the elaboration of future-oriented ILS/ISS solutions by defining robust support strategies, translating them into actionable concepts, and deriving precise system requirements and technology needs.
- Forge strong partnerships with ILS experts and specialists across Airbus Defence and Space and our (inter)national network, leveraging their consultation to establish an optimal ILS baseline for future systems.

Your Responsibilities
- Inventory Accuracy & Stock Control: Ensure daily alignment between physical inventory and SAP records while driving initiatives to improve stock accuracy, minimize losses, and establish sustainable inventory control standards.
- Inventory Reconciliation & Root Cause Analysis: Conduct regular inventory reconciliations with clients, identify discrepancies, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure long-term inventory integrity.
- Cycle Counting & Physical Inventory Management: Design and execute cycle count programs and lead annual wall-to-wall inventory counts in compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and operational standards.
- Process Optimization & SAP Excellence: Develop and implement best-practice inventory procedures, collaborate closely with warehouse operations and SAP teams, and continuously improve inventory booking processes, stock flow, and space utilization.
- Reporting & Stakeholder Management: Provide management and clients with meaningful inventory reports and actionable insights while fostering strong collaboration across all organizational levels, from warehouse employees to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Professional Experience: You have proven experience in inventory management, ideally within a 3PL and multi-client logistics environment, and a strong understanding of inventory control and reconciliation processes.
- SAP & Analytical Skills: You possess extensive SAP knowledge in inventory management, reporting, and reconciliation and are highly skilled in analyzing inventory variances and deriving effective solutions.
- Process Improvement Mindset: You enjoy challenging existing processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and implementing sustainable solutions that enhance operational performance.
- IT & System Competence: You have advanced Excel skills and experience collaborating with SAP IT teams to optimize system processes and inventory booking procedures. A valid license for operating industrial trucks is considered an advantage.
