As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the software that controls Vervaet machines. You will also provide documentation to other departments so that your colleagues can install and maintain the necessary PLCs and other electronics in the machines. As a PLC Programmer, you will be part of a team responsible for the development and implementation of the software that controls Vervaet machines. You will also analyze and optimize the machine's controls. You will report to the Engineering department and report to the Engineering Manager. With several in-house technical specialists, we strive for top quality! Will you be contributing to this soon? You enjoy doing the following: You program PLCs to operate Vervaet machines. You design an interface for the machine operator. You analyze the operation of various functions to improve them. You support assembly, overhaul, and service by resolving electronic malfunctions. You document the choices made and the operation of the written software. You select components to connect sensors and actuators and make them work with the PLC. You later record these components and the associated wiring in electrical diagrams. You will evaluate requests for design changes from various other departments. You will then develop the intended solutions in 3D and 2D using Autodesk Inventor. If the changes concern a large component, you will collaborate with other colleagues to complete all the steps from concept to prototype. Do you have a background in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanics and would you like to contribute to top quality with our team of technical specialists? You enjoy doing the following: You will implement changes to existing 3D designs of our machines. You will provide concepts for entirely new designs for new parts or machines.
