In the position of Maintenance technician, you will be conducting preventive maintenance tasks and technical repairs under the supervision of the Cluster Chief Engineer. Dit heb je nodig als offshore E&I technician in Noord-Holland - een opleiding Elektrotechniek, Energietechniek of een vergelijkbare opleiding op mbo-4-niveau. - ervaring met DCS proces controlsystemen en met Maintenance Management Software. Wat doet een offshore E&I technician? Je werkt op olie- en gaswinningplatforms midden in de Noordzee en zorgt voor het ongestoord verlopen van de processen. Dat doe je door technisch onderhoud te plegen, én de boel goed in de gaten te houden vanuit de controlekamer. Waar die e en i voor staan? De e staat voor elektrotechnisch en de i staat voor instrumentatie. Je lost storingen op aan diesel- en gasmotoren, gasturbines en compressoren. Vanuit de controlekamer monitor, bewaak en bestuur je het volledige gasproductieproces. Je plant controlerondes in, houdt logboeken bij en verhelpt problemen in het proces. Je werkt 2 weken op en 2 weken af. Dat betekent dat je 2 weken 12 uur per dag werkt op het olieplatform. Daarna ben je 2 weken vrij, wél betaald! Tasks

Typical work tasks will be

• Safe controls in start-up / shutdown of process equipment.

• Provide guidance to the field operators on field operation requirements.

• Alarm Management and investigation of repetitive alarming.

• Monitor operating parameters of level, pressure, flow rate, temperature etc. 

• Liaise with concerned parties on current operating conditions.

• Adjust operating parameters set points to meet process and product requirements as stipulated in guidelines or operating envelope.

• Produce daily operations report, highlighting equipment and process faults compiled from operators timely.

• Assist the team lead in preparation of monthly plant performance and equipment run hours, including availability statistics.

• Operate safeguarding systems.

• Maintain records showing movement of plant documents and tools/equipment. 

• Update the incoming control room operator on the status.

Qualifications

We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in control room operations.

• Technical competence certification.

• Essential Offshore Safety Training: BOSIET, HUET, FOET.

• Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English.
