The Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) team is a team of +60 consultants in Belgium and the Netherlands with an extensive experience in the field of Planning Solutions, Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Optimization. We make a difference by delivering intuitive solutions that guide and support customers in making decisions that are in line with their business objectives.
As a Consultant of our Supply Chain Planning and Optimization team you are in the pole position for improving planning at your customers. You work, from Belgium (Diegem, Mechelen, Lummen) or the Netherlands (Nieuwegein) for customers who are dealing with complex planning puzzles in the public or private sector. You will use the top technology in advanced planning systems of our alliance partners and can follow extensive training to master those.
As a member of a project team, you will analyze customer needs and ensure the implementation and delivery of high-quality, validated and documented solutions. After this our customer care team takes over and you will continue to assist them for your client in the years to come.
Together with your colleagues in the project team, you will be responsible for:
- Collecting and formulating business requirements and translating functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Continuously improving this solution and developing new functionalities.
- Validating new functionalities with the various stakeholders.
- Implementing the solution from a to z, together with the team on the customer's side.
- Providing expert knowledge in customer projects during and after implementation.

You’ll have knowledge and experience of the following:
- Bachelor or university degree, preferably in econometrics, applied economic sciences, mathematics, commercial sciences, civil engineer or commercial engineer.
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in a similar position.
- Experience with APS software and/or ERP systems.
- Experience with SQL.
- Programming skills or interested in learning the basics quickly.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability.
- Good communication skills and ability to connect with various stakeholders.
- Passion for working in a multinational customer-driven environment.
- Friendly and open approach to working in a team.
- A high sense of responsibility, customer-oriented and wanting to contribute to building our services.
- You have worked in and currently live in Belgium or The Netherlands.
- Your speak good Dutch or French and your knowledge of English is of a professional level, both oral and written.
