DTU National Food Institute is looking for a new colleague in the Research Group for Genomic Epidemiology.
In connection with the establishment of GPAP, Global Pathogen Analysis Platform, a new international initiative supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, where researchers over the next six years will develop an AI-based analytical platform to strengthen global surveillance of pathogenic microorganisms, we are seeking a new colleague.
We are looking for a Special Consultant who can manage both system administration of HPC, integrate central HPC with mobile laptop solutions, and help resolve IT issues related to data sharing, particularly in LMICs (Low- and Middle-Income Countries).
The job
Primary areas of responsibility will include:
- HPC setup
- system administration
- integration of laptop-based analyses with HPC analyses
- installation of bioinformatics pipelines
- technical assistance to co-creation partners globally
- support related to the procurement of infrastructure at DTU and among partners
- conducting courses in LMICs
Our expectations of you
The ideal candidate has insight into pathogen genome analyses and understands how the use of bioinformatic tools can be optimized on both HPC systems and laptops when there are multiple users, including in LMICs where internet connectivity may be intermittent.
Beyond technical competencies, experience from and ability to travel including to remote regions in LMICs is essential, as there is a significant political dimension related to the transfer and analysis of sequence data, as well as experience with teaching and training.
Formal requirements
Applicants who do not meet all of the following requirements will not be considered:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Linux/Unix system administration
- Minimum 3 years of experience building, managing, or administering HPC clusters
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in or with partners in LMICs
- Documented experience with pathogen genomics or microbial bioinformatics
- Proficiency in scripting and pipeline development
- Proficiency with C/C++, bash, awk, python and SQL
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience with teaching and conducting training courses in bioinformatics, particularly in resource-limited settings.
- Scientific publications within the relevant field. Please attach list of scientific publications.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).
The position is a full-time position. Starting date is 1 June 2026 (or according to mutual agreement).

Pas Normal Studios is looking for a Social Media Manager to elevate how we show up across our social channels. We strive to strengthen the connection between our brand and cycling communities across the globe, so we are looking for someone who understands culture, has a sharp creative instinct, and knows how to translate brand storytelling into high-performing, platform-native content.
As part of our Brand Communications team, you will oversee the planning, execution, and continuous development of our social media presence across all major platforms. You will bring campaigns, collections, products, athletes, events, and community moments to life, ensuring everything reflects the Pas Normal Studios brand.
This is a highly collaborative and operational role suited for someone who thrives in a creative environment and understands cycling culture. Occasional travel will be required for key brand moments, events, and community activations.
What you will do
Own and manage the social media and community calendar across all Pas Normal Studios channels
Plan, brief, create, and publish platform-specific content with support from the Creative Team and contributors
Write social-first copy and maintain a consistent, elevated brand tone
Collaborate closely with the Creative Team to ensure visual quality and storytelling standards
Work with E-commerce, Merchandising, and Paid Marketing to align short- and long-term priorities
Oversee community management, ensuring fast, relevant, thoughtful engagement with riders, customers, and partners
Travel to key events, shoots, rides, store openings, and brand moments to capture and publish content in real time
Support ambassadors, athletes, and contributors to maximise social output and storytelling
Monitor and guard brand reputation, tone of voice, and market sensitivities on social channels
To succeed, you will
Develop and continuously refine our social strategy, formats, and content playbook
Actively source content opportunities from internal teams, stores, athletes, and our global community
Create social-first assets when needed (basic editing of photo & video, reels, templates, stories, etc.)
Analyze performance, extract insights, and adjust creative execution and cadence
Balance brand-building and commercial objectives across the social ecosystem
Bring new ideas, formats, and approaches to ensure we stay culturally relevant
Help shape how Pas Normal Studios shows up in emerging platforms and cultural conversations
Ensure every post, story, and interaction reflects our brand values and aesthetic standards
What you bring
5+ years of proven experience managing social media and community engagement for global brands in the cycling industry
Native English speaker with excellent writing and editing skills, with sensitivity to tone and cultural nuance
Familiarity with basic social-first content tools (Adobe Suite, CapCut/VN, Figma/Canva)
Ability to deliver high volume at high quality — structured, proactive, and comfortable with fast turnarounds
Strong collaboration skills and confidence working across many teams and stakeholders
A strong creative eye. You understand what good, impactful and culturally relevant content looks like on social
Understanding of analytics, performance metrics, and insights-based optimisation
Comfort working in visible, high-stakes channels with global audiences
A passion for cycling
Willingness to travel regularly for content, events, and community activations
