WHO ARE YOU?
As a person you are structured, self-going and you obviously have the skills of creating well-structured software applications. Being a team player with positive mindset and a solution oriented attitude is in your nature, and you understand business demands as well as economical aspects when designing solutions. You are strong in written and verbal communication, through well described targets and rationales you raise the empowerment, inspiration and a “can do” attitude in the agile team. The Product Owner is responsible of the team delivery roadmap and you are expected to plan most of your work activities yourself aligned with this.
Your personality is your major reason for success, but we think you have:
A university degree in engineering, computer science or similar
Documented experience as Software Architect or several years as Lead developer working with software development in an agile manner
Experience of micro service architecture, cloud hosting and continuous delivery
A hands-on approach on code level (doing proof of concepts and participating in deliveries when needed)
Experience from the automotive industry and preferably also connectivity/telematics
Fluent in English - both written and spoken. At least basic skills in Swedish (and an ambition to learn more) is needed to be able to pick up “korridorssnack”, an informal but still important type of communication

With us you will take a key role in an agile domain team which is a centre-of-excellence in one of our core platform areas - truly adopting DevOps manners. We are Application developers, System Analysts and Product owners loving most of the days at work, but most of all we are a team dedicated and engaged to deliver according to committed plans. Being based in Lindholmen Science Park you will work with us in the heart of a vibrant area that lives and breathes new technology like IoT, autonomous driving, electro mobility and digitalization. Here the development is massive, new buildings and companies are popping up almost daily!
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for you who has a passion for Java software development with main focus on backend applications. The basis for your work is a constructive and cooperative relation with people within and outside of Connected Solutions. The Domain Architect is a leader role, but our aim is to delimit hierarchies and free the power of good teamwork.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead high level design of software applications fulfilling functional and non-functional requirement. Being part of a center of excellence team you must also be able to recommend alternative requirements (i.e. solutions) when suitable
Proactively drive enhancements and maintenance activities needed for our platform services
Take active part in assessment work resulting in time and cost estimates
Involve the team in the work above to secure a smooth delivery (eliminate or at least minimize hand-over)
Support the development team through the development and verification steps
Support incident resolutions and problem investigations (root cause analysis)
And finally, but not at least, continuously reflect upon how we are doing things and where we can improve. Technology-wise as well as in way-of-working
