- Mehaaniliste tööde planeerimine, jaotamine ja täitmise kontroll dokis ja ujuval remondil
- Mehaanikute, lukkseppade ja alltöövõtjate töö juhtimine
- Laevaseadmete defekteerimise, demonteerimise, remondi ja paigalduse korraldamine
- Pea- ja abimootorite, pumpade, reduktorite, võlliliinide, rooli- ja tekimehhanismide remondi kvaliteedikontroll
- Tööde tähtaegadest kinnipidamise ja tootmisdistsipliini tagamine
- Töömahtude koostamises, tööjõukulu (man-hours) arvestuses ja lisatööde hindamises osalemine
- Koostöö projektijuhi, tellija, superintendendi ja klassi esindajatega
- Tööohutuse ja töötervishoiu nõuete täitmise kontroll
- Tööde kohta aruandluse koostamine

The main duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Site Fitter are outlined as follows: Work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects at any one time, embracing the ethos of a “one team” culture. Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards, policies and procedures are always adhered to. Review of design stage mechanical drawings and P&ID in order to validate designs, familiarise with project and spot issues before they arise. Site install of mechanical systems, pipework and equipment including supporting brackets and stands. Pipework and valve installations may range from DN4mm to DN2000mm in PVC, DI, PE or SS. Modification, fabrication and installation of mechanical systems. Complete system testing in the form of pipework pressure tests and completion of inspection test records (ITRs) on completion of installation. Maintenance and repair of existing water / wastewater treatment equipment including strip-down, part replacement and re-building. Troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation, strip-down and repair equipment as necessary to ensure good working order. Conduct periodic inspections and preventative maintenance on system installations. Organise and facilitate plant shutdowns and/or diversion of flows as required with project delivery team and the customer through permit-to-work systems. Ensuring all works are to the company and mechanical standards. Complete Health & Safety checks and permits as required for work activities being undertaken. Ensure a positive experience for the customer and their representatives instilling an ethos of professionalism, collaboration and co-operation. Seek to improve the mechanical installation process by providing lessons learned feedback and innovative solutions for adoption on future projects. Keep appraised of the latest standards and technology through continuous professional development (CPD). Show an eagerness to learn and progress in your own career as well as the mentoring and training of more junior staff. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: The main knowledge, skills and experience required of the Mechanical Site Fitter are outlined as follows: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role, preferably in the water and wastewater industry. Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter/Fabricator, Maintenance Mechanical Fitter. Experienced in the mechanical installation of equipment, systems and pipework (including Stainless Steel, PVC, PE, and Ductile Iron). Good working knowledge of mechanical systems including strip-down repair and re-building. (DAF, Screw Press, Clarifiers, Dosing Systems, Screening Systems) An interest in developing a career within an industry-leading organisation. Ability to work as part of a team in project delivery and provide input at team meetings.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the engineering, coordination, and delivery of multidisciplinary MEICA projects within the water, wastewater, industrial, and pharmaceutical sectors. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and project coordination skills to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and support engineering project delivery through effective coordination and liaison with key project stakeholders including clients, design teams, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Review and become fully familiar with project design specifications, IFC drawings, and overall project scope requirements. Oversee the BIM coordination process to transform design information into installation and fabrication drawings while ensuring specification compliance and programme priorities are maintained. Ensure engineering deliverables align with the overall project programme and do not negatively impact project schedules. Manage technical submittals, approvals, and design coordination activities. Ensure all mechanical installations are completed in accordance with project specifications, QA procedures, and agreed benchmarking standards. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain adequate information flow and ensure works progress in line with programme requirements. Attend and lead project coordination, progress, and client meetings where required. Drive continuous improvement by promoting innovative engineering practices and efficient delivery processes. Assist in the preparation and agreement of project completion criteria and close-out documentation. Prepare subcontractor and supplier tender packages in conjunction with the Project Quantity Surveyor. Manage the work pack process from development through implementation and final handover. Coordinate BIM priorities including isometric generation and release schedules. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering staff where required. Ensure full compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standards Knowledge, Skills and Experience: B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent third level qualification. Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working within multidisciplinary MEICA teams or with a recognised Mechanical/Electrical contractor in a similar environment. Experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment facilities is highly desirable. Experience within industrial or pharmaceutical environments would be advantageous. Strong practical experience managing and coordinating teams within a construction site environment. Comprehensive understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and site compliance requirements. Strong knowledge of piping and mechanical pipework systems.
