Youth training
At the moment, all our groups for 9- to 21-year-olds are full, including the Fundamentals courses. Registration for these groups will reopen in May for a September start.
We still have availability in our Klauterclub groups for children aged 6 to 9.
At GRIP, children can start bouldering from the age of 6. In a motivating and supportive environment, they discover what bouldering is, learn new skills, build confidence, and solve problems alongside new friends.
To join the weekday training sessions, children aged 9 to 16 first complete an 8-week introductory course called "FUNdamentals." After this course, they can join the weekday group that fits their age and level.
The weekday groups are organized as follows: - Klauterclub: 6 to 9 years - U12: 9 to 12 years - U16: 12 to 16 years - U21: 17 to 21 years
Children under 9 join the Klauterclub directly, while participants aged 17 and older join the U21 weekday group. No Fundamentals needed for these groups.
FUNdamentals Program - 8 sessions in total - Held every Saturday - Cost: €100 for all 8 sessions
Weekday Training - 1 session per week is included in your membership - Additional weekly sessions available from €8 per 4 weeks
During the 8-week FUNdamentals course, kids from 9-16 learn all the basics of bouldering, including technique, safety, and what the sport involves. After completing the course, we decide together whether bouldering is the right fit, and the child can then join the weekday U12 or U16 training sessions. The program runs for 8 weeks, with sessions taking place on Saturdays. The age groups are divided into two time slots: - FUNdamentals U12: 09:00 - 11:00 - FUNdamentals U16: 11:30 - 13:30 Youth Selection Team
