Europass has introduced major updates on usability, accessibility and performance, designed to make the platform easier to use, more intuitive, and better connected to the needs of learners, jobseekers, and professionals across Europe. With an enhanced user journey, new analytics and AI-driven capabilities, the latest improvements focus on managing information more efficiently, creating application documents with greater flexibility, and discovering opportunities faster. 

A redesigned profile experience 

One of the most significant changes is the complete redesign of the Europass profile, which now matches the new CV builder design.  The updated profile provides a clearer and more structured way to present your experiences, skills, qualifications, and achievements, making it easier to maintain your professional profile. 

A particular focus has been placed on simplifying the management of profile entries. The platform now allows you to add, edit, remove, and reorder information more efficiently within key sections such as work experience, education, skills, and languages. With new contextual quick action buttons displayed directly inside the entry, you now have the possibility to easily add related information such as additional positions, employer details, or supporting resources in a more visible and structured way. Additional information, including certifications, memberships, and other achievements, can also be added more intuitively, helping users build richer and more personalised profiles.  

Easier creation of profiles in multiple languages 

Creating a profile in another language is now simplified thanks to a new guided process. You can start from an existing profile, upload a Europass CV, or import information from another source, helping you build multilingual profiles with less effort. What is more, at the end of the process, a new page will provide quick access to next steps like creating a CV from your recently completed profile, allowing you to keep the momentum and continue preparing for your next career step on Europass.  

A simpler dashboard, redesigned to support easier navigation 

The redesigned dashboard brings together the most important information and tools in one place, which allows for a quick access to CV and cover letter creation, interview preparation resources, personalised job and learning opportunities, and an overview of your recent activity. Moreover, it is possible to provide your feedback on Europass directly from the bottom of the dashboard using a five-star system.  

Better document management in My Library 

The My Library section has been improved to make storing and managing documents easier. This enables you to browse files more efficiently, switch between different displaying options, quickly identify important documents, and access their content smoothly on desktop and mobile devices. Documents are now marked with new visual badges that highlight their status: e.g. shared document; digitally signed credentials. 

More flexible CV and cover letter creation 

The Dynamic CV and Cover Letter tools have been updated to make them easier to use and more consistent with the existing CV flow. Users can now choose a new ‘Formal cover letter’ template, enjoy a refreshed cover letter creation design, and select their preferred language and date format when creating a CV. 

Smarter support for skills development 

Europass now provides better support for identifying and showcasing skills linked to user experiences. The platform also supports a better understanding of skills that are increasingly important in today's labour market, including digital and green skills. 

Improved accessibility for everyone 

A range of accessibility improvements have been introduced simplifying Europass for all users. Better navigation, clearer page structures, improved labels, and enhanced support for assistive technologies contribute to a more inclusive and user-friendly experience. 

Helping users discover opportunities more quickly 

Europass has strengthened the connection between the profile and EURES job opportunities.  You can now receive more relevant job suggestions based on your profile information and access more job details before continuing to external recruitment platforms.
