Due to the inherent conditions of wireless communication – and particularly with the deployment of open standards and vast coverage areas – the threat posed by jammers and spoofers is ubiquitous. Specifically at the physical layer, the detection and suppression of malicious signals constitute an enormous challenge that must be overcome to ensure the integrity of the network. The Master’s Thesis position will support the ongoing R&D activities on on-board implementation and scaling of a jamming robust gNodeB.
