For a unique Christmas store in the heart of Bruges, we are looking for an enthusiastic Store Assistant / Sales Associate who will help customers bring the Christmas spirit into their homes.
What will you do?
As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of the store and ensure that every customer enjoys a warm and pleasant shopping experience.
Your responsibilities include:
- Welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly manner
- Advising customers on Christmas decorations, ornaments, gifts and seasonal products
- Maintaining an attractive and organized store presentation
- Restocking shelves and keeping the store clean and tidy
- Processing payments and handling cash register duties
- Assisting with deliveries and unpacking new merchandise
- You enjoy working with customers and providing excellent service
- You are willing to work weekends on a rotating schedule
- Previous retail or sales experience is an advantage
- You speak Spanish, Dutch or English fluently
- In addition to your strongest language, you can communicate at a basic level in at least one of the other languages
- You enjoy working in an international environment with tourists and visitors from different countries

- Proactief communiceren over processen, policies en regelgeving
- Een mentorrol opnemen: collega’s coachen en een positieve teamspirit stimuleren
- Openstaan voor nieuwe systemen, verbeteringen en optimalisaties
- Toezien op naleving van interne operationele standaarden
- Serviceproviders van de klant auditen en opvolgen
- Minimaal 1 jaar relevante ervaring of een gelijkwaardige combinatie van opleiding en praktijk
- Kennis van ocean‑documentatie is een pluspunt
- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden: luisteren, begrijpen en helder schakelen
- Proactieve houding en uitstekende organisatorische skills
- Vlot met computers (o.a. Excel en Word)
