Je moet je voorbereiden op cultuurverschillen in sollicitatieprocedures en technische standaarden per land. Dit helpt je om succesvol te solliciteren op internationale posities in de bouw, infrastructuur en installatietechniek. Internationale werkgevers verwachten van werkvoorbereiders minimaal een relevante technische opleiding op HBO-niveau, gecombineerd met 3-5 jaar werkervaring in de bouw of infrastructuur. Je hebt daarnaast vloeiende beheersing van de lokale taal nodig en vaak aanvullende certificeringen die specifiek gelden in het doelland. De standaard kwalificaties variëren per land, maar omvatten meestal een diploma in bouwkunde, civiele techniek of vergelijkbare richting.
