We're now hiring:

  • 3 x part-time waiters: 50-60 hours per month

  • 3 x part-time waiters: 145 hours per month

  • 3 x part-time bartenders(70, 100, 145 hours per month)

Waiter tasks:

  • Take orders and serve food and drinks

  • Clean tables and maintain a tidy area

  • Prepare for opening and closing

  • Greet guests with a smile and provide excellent service

  • Manage your station/area

  • Upsell food, drinks, and specials

  • Handle customer complaints professionally

  • Open/close the restaurant and process cash sales

Bartender tasks:

  • Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

  • Pouring beer and mixing cocktails according to recipes and standards

  • Providing friendly and efficient guest service

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area

  • Restocking beverages, glassware, and bar supplies

  • Collaborating with servers and other bar staff

  • Opening and closing bar routines

  • Cleaning equipment and maintaining hygiene standards

Personal Characteristics:

  • 1-3 years of à la carte experience

  • Wine and beer knowledge

  • Fluent in English (Norwegian or Swedish is a plus)

What you’ll do:

Who you are:

  • Master’s degree in law and admission to the Norwegian bar.

  • 2-5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in the technology sector and with exposure to international marketplace or platform business models. Knowledge of the Digital Services Act and similar pan-European regulations for marketplaces is considered a plus.

  • Full fluency in Norwegian and excellent proficiency in English; knowledge of additional Scandinavian languages and/or German, French, Italian is a plus.

  • A flexible, agile problem solver with strong judgment and the ability to operate and get things done effectively and independently.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships quickly and interact with business leaders with ease.

We are regionally responsible for ultrasound-based aortic screening, which is performed by radiographers. Working hours and team The department operates primarily during daytime hours (07:30–16:00). This project investigates whether pigs—kept in large numbers worldwide and for extended period of times in low-arousal states—can be reliably distinguished as being in healthy sleep versus in drowsiness, boredom, or depression-like states. We aim to explore novel methods, successfully applied in humans, to monitor wake-sleep stages in mobile pigs. By integration sensor data and behaviour obervation, we aim to establish signatures and indicators of sleep and wakefulness in domestic pigs during passive periods. We are now looking for a PhD student who, within the project, will investigate • sleep behaviour and circadian rhythms in growing pigs kept for slaughter. • the ability of pigs to habituate and be actively trained for wearing sensor devices adapted from human to pig ears. • wake-sleep stages using behaviour and sensor data in mobile pigs, under low-stress conditions. • influence of barren vs. enriched housing on the sleep and welfare of pigs.
