Your tasks and responsibilities - Investigating state-of-the-art protocols and concepts for reliable multipath connectivity. - Developing a measurement testbed to investigate multipath transport protocols onboard Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAV) flights. - Setting up multiple wireless networks to leverage them for multipath connectivity experiments. - Programming scripts to automate processes during measurements. - Conducting in-laboratory and in-flight experiments. - Analyzing the collected datasets from experiments for feasibility assessment. Desired skills and qualifications - Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within communication technology/electrical engineering/computing or similar - You have a good understanding of multi-path connectivity and related transport protocols - You have a good understanding of Linux OS, Linux kernel, bash scripting as well as Python programming. - Previous hands-on experience with protocols such as MPTCP, MP-QUIC or MP-DCCP is a plus - Fluent in English or German We are looking forward to onboarding you in our team of curious and collaborative researchers in a very international and interdisciplinary environment.
