Newa Tryk ApS is looking for a motivated and versatile Graphic Production & Print Operator to join our production team in Brøndby, Denmark.
Do you have experience with graphic design, print production, customer service, and Adobe Photoshop or Adobe InDesign? Then you could be the colleague we are looking for.
About the Position
As a Graphic Production & Print Operator, you will become an important part of our daily production. You will work with everything from preparing artwork and operating production equipment to customer communication and order fulfillment.
This is a varied position combining graphic design, print production, customer service, sales support, and warehouse responsibilities.
Your Responsibilities
Prepare artwork and customer files for production
Create and edit designs using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
Operate printing and production equipment
Produce custom prints on textiles, workwear, promotional products, and advertising materials
Apply logos and graphics to garments and promotional items
Perform quality control of finished products
Pack and prepare orders for shipment
Handle customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
Advise customers on products, printing methods, and design solutions
Prepare quotations and provide sales support
Assist with warehouse and general production tasks
Maintain a clean and organized production environment
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
Has an interest in graphic design and print production
Is reliable, responsible, and quality-conscious
Can work independently as well as part of a team
Has good practical and technical skills
Enjoys customer interaction and providing excellent service
Has good computer skills
Speaks and understands English (Danish is an advantage but not required)
Previous experience in printing, signage, textile decoration, promotional products, or a similar industry is preferred, but not essential

The job
We are looking for a highly motivated student worker who is flexible and able to juggle multiple priorities. The job is wide-ranging and perfect for someone who likes variety! Potential tasks would include providing logistics support for training events, writing social media posts and other communications pieces in English, assisting in formatting and design of documents and PowerPoint presentations, conducting basic research or literature reviews, and assisting with special projects.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the multi-union collective agreement for the Organisations of Public Employees—Denmark (State) (OAO-S) and the trade union agreement for clerical staff etc. (HK/State).
Working hours are on average 12 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. Starting date is 1 September (or according to mutual agreement). The employment runs as long as you are an active student.
We expect you to be flexible and it is an advantage if you can be available during the summer months of June and August.

The Research Group for Global Capacity Building with DTU National Food Institute works to strengthen the global surveillance of infectious disease agents and antimicrobial resistance and to develop and implement procedures for building laboratory capacity with a focus on whole genome sequencing. The group works to develop and implement methods and guidelines that can support efforts to build the capacity of the global monitoring of antimicrobial resistance as well as increase the quality of monitoring data.

We are seeking two candidates for vacant positions in bioinformatics to support, maintain and develop existing bioinformatic tools and pipelines, and provide ad hoc assistance with genomic analyses to the different researchers in the group. The positions will contribute to the continued operation, implementation, and documentation of established analytical workflows.
Projects will involve focusing on covering classical bioinformatics methods, including sequence alignment and phylogenetic analyses, as well as the application and maintenance of existing machine-learning approaches and biological language models.
The candidates will be affiliated with the Genomic Epidemiology Research Group, which combines expertise in conventional and molecular microbiology with epidemiology and bioinformatics.
The job

Your main responsibility will be to develop, maintain and support existing bioinformatic tools, workflows, and services, as well as assist with routine and ad hoc bioinformatic analyses. Our expectations of you
- Practical experience with coding in Python as well as scripting and maintenance of existing codebases
- Experience working in Unix-based systems
- Extensive knowledge of microbial genomics and genomic analysis workflows
- Experience with established machine learning and deep learning approaches in bioinformatic workflows
- Extensive knowledge of existing bioinformatic algorithms and tools
- Experience in microbial genomic and metagenomic analyses.
- As a formal qualification, you must have a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent within relevant field.
